Learning to Devote Myself to Doing Things According to Dafa

Greetings, Master! Greetings, fellow practitioners!

I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. I am very lucky to have been saved by Master himself. When I became a Dafa practitioner, I not know about cultivation. During my 15 years of experience from personal cultivation and Fa-rectification cultivation, dramatic changes have occurred. I could not express my gratitude toward Master even if I used every language in the world. Only if I can cultivate diligently can I do things according to Master's requirements and be qualified for the title of “Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple.”

5. Insisting on Telling the Truth

In 1999, the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners began. Many practice site assistants were arrested in the middle of the night. Families were traumatized and frightened. I was an assistant at our practice site as well. I was on vacation at the time and was notified that I needed to go back immediately for a meeting. The Secretary of the Disciplinary Inspection Committee, head of the Party office, came in. The secretary said seriously, “I'm having this conversation with you because I represent the Party committee. You need to honestly tell us everything.” I said, “There must be a mistake. I always follow the law and the rules and receive awards every year. What are you talking about?” This secretary was usually very friendly with me. That day, he slammed his fist onto the table with a heavy blow and shouted, “Be serious and tell me everything about the anti-government organization that you're participating in!” I became angry and shouted back, “What nonsense! That's a dirty lie!” He struck the table again and stood up, “You need to confess everything. Otherwise, I will lock you up.” I said, “What you are doing is against the law, and qualifies you to be sent to prison. Don't even try to treat me like this.”

Greetings fellow practitioners!

I have wanted to write and share my tumultuous cultivation experiences. My journey has not been an easy one.

When I was laid off by my former workplace, I was just over 30 years old, and my appearance was young and good-looking due to the practice of Falun Dafa. My husband found me a position at the local traffic police station. I had been happy about the offer, until I found out on the first day of work that my job was to clean public washrooms in the administrative building. I was shocked and I wasn’t sure how to do this, because I didn’t do such work at home, let alone in a public place. I was fond of cooking, which I would have been happy to do if I had to do domestic work, but not cleaning washrooms! I was upset and could not accept this arrangement. My husband comforted me and said, “Don't worry, just stick with it for a little while and I will find someone to help switch your position later.” In any case, I did not have a choice, as I had lost my former job. So I unhappily started the new job.
