Additional Persecution News from China – October 14, 2011 (15 Reports)

(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in nine provinces. According to this report, nine Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least eight practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Wang Shoulan from Shijiazhuang City, arrested on September 16, 2011, is being held in the Taihuajie Brainwashing Center in Shijiazhuang. Ms. He Jinmei is also being held there.

Zhang Wensheng, chief of the Domestic Security Division, and other officers from the Beian City Police Department and the Domestic Security Division in the Heihe Area arrested Mr. Wang Zhenjun at his workplace and took him to the Tiexi Detention Center of Beian on September 16, 2011

He was reported for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong on the evening of October 12, 2011, and was subsequently arrested by the Gaizhou Domestic Security Division chief Mu Deqiang and officers from the Dongcheng Police Station in Gaizhou. Mr. Li is being held in the Gaizhou Detention Center.

7. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Shengsuo Arrested

Mr. Li Shengsuo from Liulangying Village, Xinji City, was arrested at his home in the Xinji downtown area by officers from the Xinji Domestic Security Division on the morning of October 13, 2011. His home was ransacked, and his computer and printer were confiscated.

Ms. Wang Guiqin from Zhangqiu City is in her 60s. She was arrested by officers from the Mingshui No.1 Police Station when she was out of the house. Ms. Wang is now being in the Zhangqiu Detention Center.

Ms. Li Xianzhi from Xiangyang City is about 65 years old. She was taken to the Xiangyang Brainwashing Center on the afternoon of October 9, 2011.

11. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ding Xi Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Ding Xi from Rizhao City was taken to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City in March of 2011 and was supposed to be released on October 2, 2011. However, he was then taken to a brainwashing center after his term of forced labor was up.

12. [Chongqing] Mr. Wen Liangsheng Arrested

Officers from the Guanyinyan Police Station of Wanzhou District Police Department in Chongqing barged into Mr. Wen Liangsheng's home on the afternoon of October 9, 2011. They ransacked his home and took him to the Zhoujiaba Detention Center in Wanzhou District.

Ms. Wang Yurong and Ms. Zeng Yumei were both held in the Taoshuping Detention Center in Lanzhou City and then taken to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center on October 11, 2011.

Ms. Qi Lijun was also held in the Taoshuping Detention Center and should be released on October 10. However, she has now been taken to the Yuzhong No.1 Forced Labor Camp.

14. [Chongqing] Ms. Wang Feng Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Wang Feng from Jingguan Town in the Beibei District in Chongqing was arrested at her rented residence in the Yubei District and taken to a brainwashing center on the morning of October 13, 2011.

15. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Song Yongzhan Persecuted

Mr. Song Yongzhan was reported to the Beiguan police for having a paper cutting knife in the car that he was driving on March 23, 2011. He and his car were held in the Beiguan Police Station in Jiaozhou City, where officers tortured him repeatedly in an attempt to extract a “confession” from him. On March 26, he was taken to the Jiaozhou Detention Center. Mr. Song has now been sentenced to three years in prison.
