(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In this report, 7 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 34 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Huadian, Jilin Province] Ms. Song Jinxian Arrested and Taken to Brainwashing Center
Lin Zhankun from the Hongshi Town Comprehensive Administration Office; Wang Chunjie, the head of Hongshi Town Police Station; and staff from the Huadian 610 Office and police bureau broke into Ms. Song Jinxian's home on Baishanzhen Road the morning of September 17, 2010. They arrested Ms. Song and took her to the brainwashing center at Yumuqiaozi Town.
Practitioner Mr. Zhen Zhaoliang from Huadian was also arrested and taken to the same brainwashing center by the 610 Office.

2. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yusheng Arrested
Ms. Wang Yusheng from Changchun went to Chongqing on a business trip in early September 2010 and was arrested by local police.
3. [Yanji, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhao Yonglv Detained
Mr. Zhao Yonglv told people about Falun Gong near the Beishan Elementary School on the evening of September 16, 2010. He was reported and then arrested by officers from the Jinxue Police Station. Mr. Zhao is detained in Yanji Forced Labor Camp, also known as Beida Forced Labor Camp.
4. [Shuangliao, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Haiyan Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Practitioner Ms. Wang Haiyan is employed at the Shuangliao Power Plant. She was taken to a brainwashing center by Gao Tiejun from the security section of the power plant and staff from the Shuangliao 610 Office in September 2010.

5. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yude and Husband Detained at Brainwashing Center
Director Cui from the Qunying Street Administration Office and staff from the Kuancheng Political and Judicial Committee arrested Ms. Wang Yude and her husband, both practitioners, at around 6 a.m. on September 16. They were taken to a brainwashing center located at the Law Education and Training Center of Changchun in the Changchun Engineering and Technology College.

6. [Dandong, Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Yinhong Arrested
Ms. Dong Yinhong, 54, lived in the 5th Team of Jixian in the Zhen'an District of Dandong. On August 31, she and her mother went to Taiping Community in the Zhen'an District and left a Shen Yun DVD. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secretary of the community reported them. The police from Taiping Police Station arrested them and ransacked their home.
On September 14, Ms. Dong's family received a phone call informing them that Ms. Dong was sentenced to a one and a half year term in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
7. [Jixian County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Jun and Mr. Sun Zhaoxiang Arrested
Mr. Li Jun and Mr. Sun Zhaoxiang from Jixian County are being held at Jiamusi Prison in Heilongjiang. They are forced to watch TV programs slandering Falun Gong daily.

8. [Fuxin, Liaoning Province] Sixteen Practitioners from Zhangwu County Arrested
Zhangwu County police arrested 16 practitioners on September 17, 2010. The practitioners are detained in Chengnan Police Station, Chengbei Police Station, and Zhangwu County Police Bureau.
Some of the arrested practitioners are: Ms. Lu from Dasixiang, Ms. Zhang Guixiang, Ms. Wu Xiurong, Ms. Li Yingzi, Ms. Li Li, Ms. Chen Guixiang, Mr. Xu, Ms. Wang Fengyun, and Mr. Wang Zhihong. The practitioners' homes were ransacked and police confiscated over 10,000 yuan from Ms. Wang Fengyun.
9. [Tianjin] Mr. Yang Jian Arrested
Officers from the Domestic Security Division of Wuqing and Meichang Town Police Station arrested Mr. Yang Jian from Baidian Village, Meichang Town, the Wuqing District, on September 15, 2010. Mr. Yang is detained at the Wuqing Detention Center.

10. [Qingtongxia, Ningxia] Ms. Wang Lifang Arrested
Ms. Wang Lifang from Qingtongxia was arrested on the evening of September 13, 2010. Her whereabouts are unknown.
In the past Ms. Wang has been arrested by the Yinchuan 610 Office and tortured in Xi'an Women's Prison.

11. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Xiuxi Forcibly Taken to Hengshui Brainwashing Center
The director of Jing County 610 Office, Zhen Jianhua, ordered his staff and those from the Xiangheliu government to arrest Ms. Lu Xiuxi from Luzhuang Village and take her to the Hengshui Brainwashing Center. Two persons from Xianghexiu government were assigned to monitor her.

12. [Ji'nan, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Peiyun Arrested
Police officers from Ji'nan arrested Ms. Wang Peiyun at her home on September 16, 2010, and took her to the Zhangzhuang Detention Center.
13. [Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Dongxia from Zhangjiakou Arrested in Fuzhou City on August 31, 2010
14. [Xi'an, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Chen Min'gan and Her Daughter Ms. Chen Jie Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Chen Min'gan and her daughter, Ms. Chen Jie, from Hujiamiao, the eastern urban area of Xi'an, were telling people about Falun Gong on the evening of September 14, 2010. Police arrested them and ransacked Ms. Chen Min'gan's home.

15. [Xi'an, Shaanxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Ma Taken to Brainwashing Center
Hujiamiao Police Station officers arrested Ms. Ma, in her 50s, at the residential area of the Foreign Trade Bureau of Jinhua Road at around 9 p.m. on September 13, 2010. They ransacked her home and took her to a brainwashing center.
16. [Huangshi, Hubei Province] Laoxialu Police Station Arrests Ms. Liu Chunjiao
Officers from the Laoxialu Police Station in Huangshi City jumped over the fence and broke into Ms. Liu Chunjiao's home on the evening of September 15, 2010. Ms. Liu was taken to a brainwashing center.

17. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Jidong Arrested
Mr. Zhang Jidong is an employee of the Air Conditioning Compressor Factory in Yangjiaping, Chongqing. Mr. Zhang was arrested at around 1 a.m. on September 18, 2010, while he was posting information about Falun Gong in the Tianxinglu Community at Shangjiangcheng of Yangjiaping.
18. [Xichang, Sichuan Province] Six Practitioners Sentenced
Xichang City Court sentence Ms. Lu Yuancui and Ms. Xia Huiqiong to a five-year prison term on September 10, 2010.
On September 14, 2010, Xichang City Court sentenced Ms. Gao Deyu to a 12-year term, Ms. Cheng Donglan to ten years, Ms. He Xianzhen to ten years, and Ms. He Zhengqiong to seven years.
19. [Anyue County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yu Tinggui Taken to Er'erhu Brainwashing Center
Ms. Yu Tinggui, in her 50s, is from Longtai Town in Anyue County. Ms. Yu was arrested at home by Chen Dongmei, the head of the Anyue County 610 Office, and plainclothes police officers from the National Security at noon of September 15, 2010. She was taken to the Er'erhu Brainwashing Center at Yingjie Town of Ziyang.
Ms. Yu had been detained in Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong in 2001.
20. [Dazhou, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Guoquan Sentenced to a Six-Year Prison Term
Mr. Liu Guoquan from Qinglongxiang, Qu County, was arrested by police officers from the Qu County National Security in the middle of July 2008. He was sentenced to a six-year prison term in 2009.
21. [Guanghan, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Mingying and Ms. Zeng Heqiong Arrested
Ms. Zhao Mingying, 47, is from the First division of Longju Village, Xinfeng Town. The CCP secretary of Longju Village, Zhao Dehua, and several police officers broke into Ms. Zhao's home on September 15, 2010. They arrested her and ransacked her home. Her whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Zeng Heqiong from Xigaoxiang was also arrested.
