(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 23 cities or counties in 11 provinces. In this report, 18 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 30 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Tianjin] Ms. Song Yunling's Life in Imminent Danger
Ms. Song Yunling has been on a hunger strike for more than two months since being arrested in Nankai District, Tianjin. Her life is now in imminent danger.
2. [Shulan, Jilin Province] Mr. Jin Yinglong Arrested
Mr. Jin Yinglong was arrested on his way to his workplace, Shashi Factory on Songhuajiang Bridge, at around 2:00 p.m. on September 10, 2010 by two police officers.

3. [Tonghua, Jilin Province] 610 Office Personnel Arrest Mr. Pang Bo and Ms. Li Xiuying
Police from the Tonghua 610 Office arrested Mr. Pang Bo and Ms. Li Xiuying near Hejia Hotel at about noon on September 11, 2010. Both practitioners are still detained at Xinzhan Police Station.
4. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Qingxia and Others Arrested
Police officers from Kaixuanlu Police Station in Tiebei arrested practitioners Ms. Liu Qingxia (50s) and Ms. Guo Jie (70) on the morning of September 10, 2010. Their homes were also ransacked. Both women are currently detained at Xinglongshan Detention Center.

5. [Benxi, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Jixian Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
Mr. Zhang Jixian, in his 50s, is from Xihu District, Benxi City. He was arrested by police from Caitun Police Station at around 6:00 p.m. on August 18, 2010 when he was distributing informational materials about Falun Gong at the Agricultural Trade Building. He was then interrogated throughout the night. The police ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books, an MP3 player and extorted 500 yuan from his family on the afternoon of August 9.
Mr. Zhang was transferred to Weiningying Prison to serve a two-year term on September 2, 2010.

6. [Hegang, Heilongjiang Province] Hegang Miner News and Xibu Labor Dispatching Company Discriminate Against Falun Gong
On August 21, 2010, Hegang Miner News printed an advertisement for Xibu Labor Dispatching Company on the 4th page stating: "[Applicants] should not have violated any law or practice Falun Gong. Besides the application form, a statement issued by the applicant's local residential committee is also required to verify if the applicant has ever practiced Falun Gong."

7. [Tumen, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Yaxian Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Liu Yaxian is an elementary school teacher. She was forcibly taken to a brainwashing center located in the Songlin Senior Center in Shixian Town on the morning of September 10, 2010.
8. [Sanhe, Hebei Province] Ms. Shen Yongzhi Arrested
Wang Zhenjun, a staff at the Law Enforcement Office of Yanjiao Town Government, and Rao Haibin arrested Ms. Shen Yongzhi from Zhugedian at around 12:00 p.m. on September 9, 2010.
9. [Jinzhou, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xing Yali Arrested
Ms. Xing Yali, in her 40s, is a practitioner from Jinzhou City. Ms. Xing and the another practitioner were talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of September 10, 2010 when a staff member at the residential and street administration office reported them to the police. As a result, she is now detained at Jinhua Police Station.

10. [Tianjin] Mr. Ma Hongzhi Severely Persecuted in Tianjin's Gangbei Prison
Practitioner Mr. Ma Hongzhi from Hedong District is currently imprisoned at Gangbei Prison in Tianjin. After suffering severe tortures in the prison, his mouth became crooked and one side of his body is paralyzed. Last month, he had to be taken to Xinsheng Hospital next to Lingzhuangzi Prison for treatment.

Police from Dingningdian Town Police Station arrested Ms. Jia Mingying from Dingningdian Village, Dingzhou City on the morning of September 10, 2010. The police also ransacked her home.

Personnel from the Xuanwu District's 610 Office arrested Ms. Liu Suyin from Xixia District, Nanjing in the morning of August 11, 2010. Ms. Liu's home was also ransacked. She is now detained at Nanjing City Detention Center and is denied family visitations.

14. [Shanghai] Ms. Jiang Wenling Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Ms. Jiang Wenling was arrested by the police from Zhangjiang Police Station in Xin Area, Pudong, Shanghai. She is currently being detained at Qingpu Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term.
15. [Qingyun County, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
Police officer Li Guangrong from Qingyun County Police Bureau and others arrested practitioners Ms. Hu Lianhua, Ms. Han Zhongdai, Mr. Liu Baoyang, Mr. Yang Xiqing, Mr. Zhang Aimin and Ms. Xu Qingmei on September 2, 2010. They also confiscated the practitioners' personal belongings.
The police confiscated more than 10,000 yuan worth of items from Ms. Li Shuxia's home. She managed to escape arrest.

16. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Suyun and Ms. Xiao Guifang Detained in a Brainwashing Center
For talking to people about Falun Gong at the local market, practitioners Ms. Yang Suyun and Ms. Xiao Guifang from Qinglong Town, Qinglong County were arrested. They are now detained at Qinglong County Education Center.
17. [Nanjing, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Tang Guochao's Whereabouts Unknown
Nanjing resident Mr. Tang Guochao, 69 years old, was passing out truth-clarification materials at Hongtaiyang Furniture Market at around 8:00 p.m. on August 5, 2010 when he was reported to the authorities. As a result, he was arrested and his home ransacked.
18. [Dingzhou, Hebei Province] Mr. Sun Yuxi Arrested
Police from Liuzaoxiang Police Station broke into Mr. Sun Yuxi's home and confiscated a computer, a printer and Falun Gong materials at 7:00 a.m. on September 10, 2010. They also took away Mr. Sun's tractor and electric car. Mr. Sun and his wife were able to escape arrest.
That same night at about 8:00 p.m., the police broke into Mr. Peng Zhanguo's home and confiscated a computer and a copier. They also arrested him. Mr. Peng is 70 years old.
19. [Fupiing County, Hebei Province] Additional Information about Ms. Xin Guozhi and Others
Practitioners Ms. Xin Guozhi, Ms. Fan Xifeng and Ms. Zhang Lanrong from Fuping County were sentenced to one year of forced labor on August 12, 2010. Ms. Yuan Guihua and Ms. Liu Gairong have been released.
20. [Zhangye, Gansu Province] Mr. Li Tianxiao Illegally Sentenced
Mr. Li Tianxiao from Zhangye City is detained at Xindun Detention Center and sentenced to three years of imprisonment without any court proceedings.
21. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolia] Practitioner Ms. Li Xuemei Arrested
Police officer Liu Caijun from the Domestic Security Division at Wongniuteqi Police Bureau in Chifeng City, along with Zhang Ruidong and Li Xianru broke into Ms. Jiang Guizhi's home and arrested her daughter-in-law Ms. Li Xuemei on August 31, 2010.
22. [Huaihua, Hunan Province] Ms. Shu Wenying Taken to Huaihua Brainwashing Center
Ms. Shu Wenying works at Xiangwei Company. Personnel from the company's 610 Office, Liu Fangxin and Shu Zhenchou, arrested Ms. Shu and sent her to Huaihua Brainwashing Center on September 10, 2010.
23. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Peng Qiongxian Taken into Custody
Xu Daquan from the Shuangliu County 610 Office, Peng Yishang from the Street Administration Office of Dongsheng Town and four other people broke into Ms. Peng Qiongxian's home on the morning of September 4, 2010. They twisted both of her arms, held her hands behind her back, smashed her head against the wall and kicked her feet and legs. Then, they sent her to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.
In 2002, Ms. Peng was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. She was released on September 5, 2009.

24. [Pengzhou, Sichuan Province] Police Arrest Practitioners at Group Study
Over a dozen practitioners were studying the Fa at Mr. Lei Zhengqing's home in Huguo Residential Area, Zhihe Town at about 2:00 p.m. on September 8, 2010. The police raided his home, arrested all the practitioners and took them to Guangminglu Police Station. The practitioners were interrogated and their photos taken.
25. [Xiaogan, Hubei Province] Police from Xiaonan Arrest and Detain Practitioners
Practitioners Ms. Liu Jianying and Ms. Wang were talking to people about Falun Gong at around 10:00 a.m. on September 5, 2010 when someone reported them to the police. As a result, the police arrested them. After interrogations at the police station, Ms. Wang was released while Ms. Liu is still detained.

26. [Chenzhou, Hunan] Ms. Liu Fani Arrested
Ms. Liu Fani from Chengpingxiang of Anren went to Zhushanxiang Village to clarify the truth of Falun Gong on September 9, 2010. The police arrested her and has detained her somewhere in Chenzhou City.
27. [Huaihua, Hunan Province] Ms. Pan Cune Arrested
Ms. Pan Cune from Zhongfang, Huaihua was reported to the police by Yang Longrong in the afternoon of September 9, 2010. Staff from Zhongfang Town 610 Office and the police from Zhongfang Town Police Station arrested her and sent her to a brainwashing center.
