(Clearwisdom.net) I would like to share my experiences with clarifying the truth. I understand the responsibilities we practitioners have, and have been telling people about Dafa face-to-face for the past six years. In order to save sentient beings, we need to have great compassion, assimilate ourselves to Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance, and melt into Dafa.
Practitioners from our Fa-study group clarify the truth one on one or in a group. Everyone finds time to go out and to talk to people in the morning, and come together to study the Fa in the afternoon during the weekdays. Small groups of two or three practitioners go out to a big crowd to clarify the truth on Sundays. When there are big events in our city, we go out every morning because many people attend. We coordinate and harmonize with each other. We have been doing this for the past six years and the results have been positive. We have been able to persuade over 100 people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations each week.
1. A 92-year-old General
A shopping mall had a grand opening in our city and we went there on a Sunday this past April to talk to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. There were many people inside the mall and as I was looking for someone to talk to, I saw an elderly lady about 10 meters away waving at me. Although I didn't know who she was, I still walked towards her. She gave me a hug and said in a clear voice: "We are like old friends. I finally found you."
During our conversation, she seemed worried that I would leave so she would always tug on my arm. She told me that her children wouldn't let her go out by herself because she was 92 years old. She sneaked out that day when they were busy with household chores. She told me that she used to be a soldier and fought in several wars including the Korean War. She said she was lucky to have survived and was promoted to the level of general.
I clarified the truth to her and suggested that she quit the CCP. I talked about the corruption in the army, and she agreed. I told her that the CCP has committed a lot of crimes and made everyone angry. I also told her the benefits of quitting the CCP and having a safe future. During our conversation, she was so excited that she hugged me twice. She happily did the three withdrawals. She hugged me again and said: "Thank you little sister." I replied: "You need to thank my Master because he asked us to do this - to save people, to save more people." I noticed that she was so excited that she had tears in her eyes. I then walked her outside. She reluctantly walked away as she waved good-bye.
As I write about this incident, I feel that walking on the path arrange by Master is the safest. Fellow practitioners, please break through yourself and eliminate any notions/concepts, selfishness and fear that prevent you from saving sentient beings. We are their only hope. Please grasp this fleeting moment to save sentient beings.
2. Five Ladies Laugh
Six of us went to a large square at a nearby park to tell people the truth towards the end of May. We saw five elderly ladies sitting by a flower pond when we arrived. I thought it would be difficult to clarify the truth to them. If one of them didn't want to quit the CCP, it would have a negative affect on the others. So we decided to just send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate any bad factors behind them.
We talked to over 70 people and by that time it was getting late. When we were about to go home, we saw the five ladies still there. I thought to myself, "Maybe these people are waiting to be saved." I sat by one of them and talked to her. Each practitioner clarified the truth one-on-one. All five women decided to quit the CCP and they thanked us as we were leaving.
There are many similar stories that I haven't talked about. When we tell people about Dafa, the persecution and doing the three withdrawals, it is also a process that helps to eliminate our attachments and notions. Furthermore, our local coordinating and harmonizing as one body are getting stronger as we truly improve and assimilate to the Fa together. It hasn't been easy to get to today's stage after experiencing difficulties for over ten years. As long as we have the heart to save sentient beings, the road will become wider, brighter and smoother. Maybe you do not dare to clarify the truth right now or don't do well in the beginning. As long as you start to talk to people, you will be more brave and do better. Please remember to look inward and correct yourself immediately when there are conflicts and actively harmonize and coordinate with the whole body. Summarize your experiences as you clarify the truth and correct your shortcomings. Gradually you will do better.
Fellow practitioners, please step out to clarify the truth face-to-face. It is not difficult. It's difficult when we think only of ourselves. As long as we keep sentient beings in mind and have the heart to save them, we will do a good job because we have Master by our side, helping us all the time.
