(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 14 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least ten practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Gongyi, Henan Province] Ms. Lan Qiaozhen Arrested
Ms. Lan Qiaozhen was arrested on June 3, 2010 as she distributed information about Falun Gong and the persecution.
2. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Lianbin and Mr. Zhu Guanzhen Held in Custody
Mr. Zhao Lianbin from Lincheng County was arrested at home at 4:00 a.m. on June 4, 2010, and Mr. Zhu Guanzhen at 7:00 a.m. Officers from the Lincheng County Police Department made the arrests. The two practitioners are held in the Xingtai City Brainwashing Center.
3. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Qiu Lingli Held in the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp
Guards in the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp tied Ms. Qiu Lingli onto a death bed for one month and five days as of March 15, 2010. Ms. Qiu has subsequently suffered from heart problems. She was in pain, and her hands and feet were icy cold. She also suffered from leg edema, headaches, and dizziness, and was forced to do hard labor even when she was extremely weak.
Ms. Qiu did not do much work on May 10 or 13, 2010, making guard Zang Li verbally abuse her twice and kick her legs.
4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Circumstances Regarding Ms. Yang Miao
Ms. Yang Miao from Shijiazhuang City was sent to the No. 5 Division in the Shijiahzuang City Forced Labor Camp. She is on a persecution protest hunger strike.
5. [Huaping County, Yunnan Province] Mr. Zhou Fumin Held in Custody
Mr. Zhou Fumin from Huaping County was arrested on the morning of May 15, 2010, as he distributed information about Falun Gong in Daxin. He is now in the Huaping County Detention Center.
6. [Chiping County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yuling Harassed and Persecuted
More than a dozen police officers from Hantun Town, led by police head Li Hongwei, broke into Ms. Wang Yuling's home at around 8:00 p.m. in September 2007. They found several practitioners studying Falun Gong books at her home. The police arrested Ms. Wang and other practitioners, confiscated their Falun Gong books and informational materials, and 11,000 yuan in cash. The practitioners were taken to the Hantun Town Police Station that same night. Ms. Wang and two other practitioners were later sent to the Chiping County Detention Center.
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Additional Information Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Ai Wangyun
Plainclothes police arrested Ms. Ai Wangyun at around 10:00 a.m. on May 30, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong at an automotive market. She is now in the Dahuang Village Detention Center.
8. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Gong Deyuan and His Wife Ms. Yan Shuzhou Held in Custody
Mr. Gong Deyuan and his wife Ms. Yan Shuzhou, along with Ms. Wang Wuxiu, have been held in custody for more than a year. They are being held in the Shaoyang City Detention Center.
9. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Chunying Arrested
A group of officers from Houyi Police Station arrested Ms. Wu Chuying and her husband from Houyi Township at around 9:00 a.m. on June 6, 2010. Their whereabouts are unknown.
10. [Shandong Province] Mr. Ning Zhiqun's Wife Held in Custody
Mr. Ning Zhiqun's wife from Juye was arrested on May 14, 2010, and taken to the county detention center. Mr. Ning had been arrested in December 2007 and sentenced to seven years in prison in November 2008. He is now in the Tai'an Prison.

11. [Chongqing] Mr. Feng Yunhe Arrested at Home
Mr. Feng Yunhe, in his sixties, is a retired teacher from Qianjiang. Eight officers from the Qianjiang 610 Office and from the Domestic Security Division arrested him at home around 1:00 a.m. on June 1, 2010. His whereabouts are unknown.
12. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ren Qiuhong Subjected to Forced Labor
Ms. Ren Qiuhong from Guangzhou City was arrested on May 15, 2010 and later subjected to one and a half years of forced labor. She is now in the Chatou Women's Forced Labor Camp.
13. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Ms. Huang Xiuling Arrested
Ms. Huang Xiuliang from Malan Village in the Shahekou area was arrested on June 4, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong near the Dalian Stadium. Officers from the Minyun Police Station in the Xigang District made the arrest and ransacked her home. Ms. Huang is now in the Yaojia Detention Center.
14. [Hailin City, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Ms. Liu Yunxiang
Ms. Liu Yunxiang, who is in her sixties, from Hailin City, was arrested on May 21, 2010. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a printer and other items valued at more than 10, 000 yuan.

15. [Siping, Jilin Province] Ms. Song Yaqin Arrested
Ms. Song Yaqin, 53, from Siping City was arrested on the afternoon of June 6, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong. Participating in the arrest were officers from Beishichang Police Station.

16. [Guilin, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Three Practitioners Subjected to Forced Labor
Officers from the Guilin Domestic Security Division and from the Xiangshan Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Tang Meifang in the street in May 2010. They proceeded to arrest Ms. Tang Xiaoyan at Ms. Tang Meifang's home. The two practitioners were each given a one-year forced labor term on June 4, 2010, and were sent to the Guangxi Women's Forced Labor Camp.

17. [Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Shuxiang Held in the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Sun Shuxiang, who is being held in the No. 1 Division of Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun, suffers from heart problems and duodenal perforation, resulting from severe abuse and torture. She also coughs a lot and has difficulty walking.
18. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Circumstances of Ms. Shi Yuxia --Belated Information
Ms. Shi Yuxia, 59, is from Datong Town, in the Datong area. Officer Liu Jimin from the Datong District Police Station, and Hou Guo, the No. 4 Village head, arrested Ms. Shi at home on January 23, 2002. They also ransacked her home. The next day, Ms. Shi was taken to the Daqing Detention Center. She was previously given a four-year prison term on June 22, 2002, and served her term in the Heilongjiang Women's Prison beginning September 27, 2002.
19. [Sanhe, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Hongjiao Arrested
Ms. Li Hongjiao, from Goubei Village, Quyang Town, was arrested on June 1, 2010, and later taken to the Langfang Brainwashing Center.
