Teacher Han Looks Radiant and Energetic After Renouncing His Communist Party Membership
(Clearwisdom.net) Currently, the number of people in China who have chosen to renounce their membership in the CCP and its affiliated organizations has reached 70 million. Furthermore, many, like Teacher Han who lives on our block, became radiant and energetic after they decided to quit.
Teacher Han is in his 70s. After a serious illness, he was living in pain and had difficulty with mobility. It was really depressing to watch him struggle as he shuffled about with each step he took. However, Teacher Han had a lot of patience. One could see him exercising in his garden almost every day. Perhaps it was because of the torment of the physical pain he was experiencing, Teacher Han spoke very little. Sometimes when I saw him, I greeted him. He seemed not to hear and would still look sorrowful and melancholy. His face looked as though it was shrouded in dark black clouds. Teacher Han's wife was totally different from him as she was very warm and would greet everyone. One day after work, I went to Teacher Han's house. I told him that he was a cultured man, and I recommended a book to him. I told him that the book would help him see the true colors of the CCP.
A few days later, I went to Teacher Han's house. He told me that the book, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, was really good. He said that it must have been written by an extraordinary person because everything it said was true. He stated that people his age had experienced all the major political movements such as "The Great Leap Forward," "The Great Famine," "Three-Antis and Five-Antis," and that these events were terrible. He sighed as he recalled what happened during those times. I remarked that the history of the CCP show that it used violence to gain and maintain power. Mao Zedong said that political power is gained through the barrel of a gun. The CCP carried out numerous political movements. Many people were harmed and killed during each movement. The CCP is currently using lies to hoodwink its citizens to maintain its power. We, as citizens, have no sense of security, let alone happiness. Our older generations all respected Gods and Buddhas while doing things with a conscience. We worry about retribution from heaven. When human beings are not restrained by their conscience and moral values, they will dare to do all kinds of evil deeds.
I told him that the book states that Falun Gong practitioners all believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They practice the exercises and strive to be good. They live by high moral standards and they refrain from doing bad deeds. What have they done wrong? They are currently being persecuted by the CCP and over 3,000 practitioners have already died as a result of the persecution.
Teacher Han's wife said that she knew that Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. I said, "Yes, the CCP persecutes good people. They have committed bad deeds to the extreme. If society does not bring them to justice, they will be punished by gods. If we do not renounce our CCP membership, when the CCP goes down, its members will also be doomed. If you renounce your membership, it will assure your safety. Currently, more than 70 million people have renounced their CCP memberships." She immediately said, "If this is a beneficial thing that will ensure my safety, why shouldn't I do it?" She told me to help her quit. She said that she and her son and daughter-in-law had joined CCP organizations, and she wanted me to help them quit, too. Teacher Han was a CCP party member. I gave him a pseudonym, which he agreed with, and commented that this name was a good one. Before I left, I told Teacher Han that he should recite with sincerity "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good".
A few days later, when I saw Teacher Han in his garden, he looked totally different. The black clouds around his face had disappeared. He looked radiant and energetic. It looked like the saying "the evil CCP spirit takes possession of the bodies of its members" was true after all.
