Ms. Tang Weiming from the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center Is in a Confused State of Mind after Being Persecuted in a Forced Labor Camp
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Tang Weiming, 40, was the registry officer at the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center.
Ms. Tang was subjected to detention, brainwashing, and mental abuse numerous times solely for practicing Falun Gong and talking to people about Falun Gong.
Ms. Tang was incarcerated in a brainwashing facility in 2000, and was forced into a divorce. She had been living away from home, moving from place to place.
In 2007, Ms. Tang was once again locked up in a brainwashing facility and was not released until September 2008.
In December 2008, Ms. Tang was sentenced to one year of forced labor for publicly speaking with people about Falun Gong. She was held in the Qingpu Forced Labor Camp, where she was often placed in solitary confinement in an attempt to "reform" her. She experienced mental abuse.
It is likely that Ms. Tang was forced to take unknown drugs, because she has been in a confused state of mind since she was released from the camp. Upon her release she was extremely weak. Her employer did want to take her back, but higher authorities forced her employer to accept her. She is now taking a long sick leave at home.
