(Clearwisdom.net) This is a true story that occurred in Qixia, Shandong Province. It was the winter of 2001, when the communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong was the most severe. It was a day with light snow; a Falun Gong practitioner was reading a Falun Gong book at her home when suddenly a group of policemen broke in. Without any explanation, the police snatched the book out of the practitioner's hands and ran outside. The practitioner rushed out of the room barefooted to chase the policemen, but they quickly jumped on a motorcycle and drove away.

After several years had passed, one day when the practitioner was selling coal at her own coal field, a policeman came in and said to her, "Finally I found you! I have been here several times!" The practitioner replied, "I do not know you." The policeman said, "You don't remember me. One winter day a few years ago when you were reading a Falun Gong book, I grabbed your book and ran away. It was snowing and you ran out of the room barefooted. Since then I have suffered from headaches, and I cannot get them cured in any way whatsoever. Now I realized my wrongdoing. I will never again get involved in Falun Gong cases. If I see you practitioners doing something, I will not take any action."

The policeman also begged the practitioner, "Could you stop sending forth righteous thoughts? I know I was wrong!" The practitioner explained to him, "Do not misunderstand. Our sending righteous thoughts is against the evil in other dimensions, not against humans. Good will be rewarded with good and evil doings will receive retribution--this is the heavenly law. It's good you realized your wrong doings. In the future as long as you treat Dafa disciples well, you will get blessings." The policeman seemed to understand; he nodded and left.

Good will be rewarded with good and evil will receive retribution; this is the heavenly law. The universal principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are regulating everything. One should never think that those doing bad things or persecuting good people can escape the ensuing punishment from heaven.
