(Clearwisdom.net) The region in the mountains and hills of Santai County, Sichuan Province, is mostly poor, and especially so is our hometown, which is well-known for dry hills. The land looks red and yellow, the ground is gravel, and the underground contains nothing but yellow sand and gravel. There is basically no water. Even if God gifted us with rain, the water would be drained away quickly due to the sandy, dry soil.
People living in local rural towns depend entirely on pumped water from Fujian River, which is 15 kilometers away. The water bill is very expensive, and ordinary people cannot afford to use water. The majority of people rely on income from their out-of-town jobs. Because of the sandy underground, drilling wells for water is not an easy task--the failure rate is 80 to 90 percent. Labor costs for drilling wells are also very high, and one needs to drill at least 12 meters deep just to be able to see if there is any hope of water in the selected location.
Our family returned home with some money earned from working out of town thinking that we could get our own well and thereby solve the water problem. The workers we hired to drill the well signed a contract that charged 300 yuan for each drilled meter, whether there is water or not. I nervously signed the contract, my husband paid the deposit, and we anxiously waited for the news from the workers to come.
The first drilled well was 12 meters deep and did not have any water. It cost us 3,600 yuan. My husband didn't want to give up, so the workers drilled the second well. It was also 12 meters deep, but still did not have any water. It cost us another 3,600 yuan, bringing the total cost to over 7,000 yuan. My husband then said, "If we have no success with the third drill, we will give up altogether."
The location for the third drill was chosen on the side of my house, where we had tried once before with no success. Just when the workers had drilled four meters deep, my brother rushed in and said: "There is no water below, because the underground contains too much yellow sand and gravel and is very hard." My whole family was disturbed by the unhappy situation.
At noon on the third day, I suddenly remembered my aunt who lives at a distant place and practices Falun Gong. She had once visited our home and explained to me the truth about Falun Gong and Falun Gong's miracles. She gave me a charm which read, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good; Falun Dafa is Good." She told me to recite these words sincerely at any critical moment, and then miracles could occur. I went to bed and sat in a half-crossed-legged position, and while holding the charm in my hands, recited with good faith: "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa Master, please bless our well drilling!"
After reciting these words for a while, I went out to do other things. An hour later, a well worker told us, "The well started to deliver water, and we only drilled nine meters deep!" After hearing this news, I almost fainted from surprise and went out to see it for myself--sure enough, the water was really coming out!
I exclaimed, "Falun Dafa truly is good, what a miracle!" The workers didn't understand what I meant, because no one practices Falun Gong in this region. People have often heard on the radio the Chinese regime's fabricated lies slandering Falun Gong, so no one here has dared to practice and has never dared to talk about this matter either. When my aunt had visited our home before, we saw how her health was blooming and that she was a gentle person, and so we believed that Falun Gong is good. She urged us to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party organizations, but we dared not talk about this matter with anyone else.
I told my family and relatives how I prayed for Falun Dafa's Master's help with the well drilling, and now they also believe that Falun Dafa is good. The third drill only cost us 2,700 yuan, and we got the water.
Earlier this year, I visited my aunt's home and asked her to give me more charms. When I returned home, I gave the charms to my family, friends, and relatives, and told them that Falun Dafa is good, and that they should not believe the evil party's lies any longer. Now, I also want to practice Falun Gong!
