(Clearwisdom.net) The Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company, on its European tour, performed at Frankfurt's Jahrhunderthalle on Friday evening, March 12.

Engrossed silence and an occasional tear were seen during the dances based on the situation, today in China, for those who follow their beliefs. [Nothing Can Block the Divine Path and Astounding Conviction].

Henry Javier Arcos Munoz, consul general from Colombia, his wife Silvia Callirgos, and their daughter Siljha Arcos at Jahrhunderthalle.

Henry Javier Arcos Munoz, consul general from Colombia, and his wife Silvia Callirgos, whose great grandfather came from Hong Kong, and their young daughter Siljha Arcos, saw the Shen Yun performance on Friday, March 12.

"This is the first time we have seen something this special," said the consul general after the show. "Spectacular! I loved the colors and the music."

"I was deeply moved by the scenes that depict the suppression of the Falun Gong spiritual practice," he said.

He added, "I will make sure that the Colombian community in this area will hear about this show."

Mr. Arcos Munoz was very impressed with the live orchestra, which combines traditional Chinese and classical Western instruments in a masterful fusion, saying it was the highlight of the evening for him. "The orchestra was outstanding," he said.

In addition to its live orchestra, Shen Yun uses state-of-the-art technology to produce larger-than-life, digitally animated backdrops that complement each performance.

"The backdrop was very interesting. Impressive, very impressive! This is the first time we have seen something this impressive," he said in awe.

The consul general's wife also offered her praise. "The show was fascinating. It was a wonderful show. I loved the orchestra. And the female dancers were so dainty. The way they expressed themselves, their faces and movement in the different dances ... I was very impressed," she said.

"Everything touched my heart, especially the scene with the little girl whose mother was arrested [Nothing Can Block the Divine Path]," she added.

Mrs. Callirgos said she would recommend the show to others, telling them, "You must come. You must see the show and learn about Chinese culture."

Dr. Gundolf Mackenroth, a retired physician, and his wife Sabine were also in the audience and were impressed with the emcees' commentaries before the curtain opened to the next scene.

"It is historically interesting and quite colorful. The emcees' commentaries are helpful, and explain things well," said Dr. Mackenroth.

"I also appreciate the dances from various parts of China. One senses the centuries and thousands of years old culture."

"We have seen interesting and colorful stories."

Ulf Krausch and his companion Sandra Seip.

Ulf Krausch, dentist and dental implant specialist, and his companion Sandra Seip, an independent real estate salesperson, received tickets to Shen Yun from a friend.

"The show was enchanting," Dr. Krausch said. "In principle, it showed what China has to offer the world, such as the costumes and the traditional cultural dance from China's different regions, including Tibet and Mongolia."

Dr. Krausch had visited China quite some time ago and much has changed since then. The dance Nothing Can Block the Divine Path touched his heart. "I took special note of the family that was persecuted because of its spiritual leanings. It appealed to me, and from an artistic point of view it was performed extremely well."

Ms. Seip agreed with him and said the show was amazing. She believed that she had an expert eye, as she is a frequent visitor to musicals and shows. "The music was fabulous. A very interesting synchronization, given the Chinese instruments," she said. "Absolutely fantastic."

The tenor "was tops," she said. And she was impressed by the erhu, a traditional Chinese two-stringed instrument with very rich sounds.

The traditional values displayed by the Shen Yun performers made a deep impression on her. "What I have seen tonight is a quality show and is thought-provoking. The show is much deeper than anything else one sees nowadays."

She continued, "This type of show returns society to a traditional lifestyle, and I'm very pleased about that, especially if it results in pointing people into that direction. This is extremely important for all cultures."
