Ms. Lin Shaona was tried and imprisoned without notifying her family. Now that they have located her at Baiyun Women's Prison, they are not allowed to visit her even on the official 'visitors day.'
On January 21, 2010, Lixia District Court in Jinan City tried Ms. Fang Xiuzhen, a Falun Gong practitioner. Her family members were not allowed to attend. Her attorney and his firm were subject to pressure prior to the trial.
After Ms. Zhang Chenmei unexpectedly died in February 2010, the camp immediately cremated her body making it difficult for her family to determine the cause of death.
While in detention Ms. Wang was given unknown drugs.
