(Clearwisdom.net) Saturday, February 6, Shen Yun performed at the Dallas Music Hall at Fair Park. In attendance were Mr. Bruce Yamini and his wife Ms. Donna Collins. In metaphor, Ms. Collins described her experience with Shen Yun, "It's like how it is in the Wizard of Oz, where the first part is in black and white, and then everything turns to full color once the Wicked Witch of the East is killed. Everything else ... look at this," she said, pointing at the surrounding walls and furniture of the theatre lobby, "this is all kind of black and white; it's kind of boring out here; and then there is the Shen Yun show," she said, "bursting with vibrant and lively colors."

"Unbelievable! Beautiful! Precious! Everything about it was just beautiful," said Ms. Collins about the show she took in on Saturday evening. Ms. Collins is a professional ceramic artist and jewelry designer. She and her husband, Mr. Bruce Yamini, are also founders of the Global Peace Project, a non-profit organization that teaches peace education.

Describing the show as a "visual feast", Ms. Collins said the show has given her inspiration for her next designs. "It was very easy to find inspiration," she said."I'll go home and I'm thinking, you know something green and purple is definitely going to appear. Peridot and amethyst will be sprinkled across the table tomorrow."

Mr. Yamini admitted that although he appreciates the talent of performers in ballet, he doesn't particularly enjoy watching traditional ballet. But watching the classical Chinese dance presented by Shen Yun was different. "This was very enjoyable ... we will see this any time we get a chance," he said.

One of the most enjoyable parts for Mr. Yamini was "waiting to see what color scheme and what set was going to appear, and what the costume was going to look like each time the curtain went up," he said. "The subtle differences in the colors of those costumes and sets and so forth, compared to what we see normally was just amazing! ...you wouldn't think they would be so different, but they were."

Every part of the show is "fun" and "inspiring", Mr. Yamini said, and the spirituality and incorporation of the dance performances showing crimes against humanity by the communist regime in contemporary China and the courage of the persecuted people make Shen Yun "special on so many levels." Noting that Shen Yun will be returning to Texas in August with shows in Fort Worth on Aug. 4-5 and Austin on Aug 7, Mr. Yamini said he's sure they will be encouraging many friends and family members to attend the show.

He said he would be telling them that "you need to have the experience with this show on all the levels ... visually, audio, even the technology. It's got something for everybody ... you can't get enough of this."
