(Clearwisdom.net) (By a Minghui correspondent reporting from Hunan Province) On the evening of January 13, 2010, at around 7:00 p.m., Mr. Lai Jinming, a practitioner from Changsha City, was apprehended by local police officers from Chaoyang Street, sentenced to one year of forced labor, and taken to the Zhuzhou City's Baimalong Forced Labor Camp. This is the third time Ms. Lai has been incarcerated in a forced labor camp. Her family members are grief-stricken after receiving the news of her sentence. She had been detained for 15 days, and January the 13th was supposed to have been the date of her release. At around 9:00 a.m. that morning, three police officers, including Li Jieyu from the local Chaoyang Street Police Station, apprehended Ms. Lai and prolonged her detainment. At that time, the Chaoyang Police Station's application to send her to the forced labor camp had not yet been approved by the Changsha City Forced Labor Committee.
In the interim, Ms. Lai's family frequently visited the police station and inquired about her. Li Jieyu evaded the family's inquiries, while Huang Gang viciously reprimanded them. Because instructor Cao Pengfei received many messages and phone calls from Falun Gong practitioners, who explained the truth to him after Ms. Lai's arrest, Cao Pengfei was enraged and called out, "Forced labor (for Lai Jinming)!. It will definitely be approved. Practitioners of Falun Gong will all be detained--every single one of them that we find."
We call upon everyone around the world to help stop the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from persecuting these kindhearted Falun Gong practitioners, and to help free Lai Jinming and all practitioners who have been illegally detained by the CCP.
