(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 23 cities or counties in 11 provinces. In this report, 29 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 26 practitioners were illegally arrested.

2. [Anping County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zheng Suya Covertly Detained
Ms. Zheng Suya from Zhengzhuang Village was first held in a detention center but was transferred to the Shijiazhuang Women's Prison on November 2, 2010. No legal procedures were followed.
3. [Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Jiang Chunyan Recently Arrested As She Distributed Information about Falun Gong
4. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Yaping Arrested
Ms. Li Yaping from the Fengrun District was arrested on November 27, 2010 as she spoke with people about Falun Gong. 610 Office agent Chen Jianfu took her to the Linyin Road Police Station. Four of Ms. Li's relatives hurried to the police station to demand her release. The police officers took all of them into custody.

5. [Hulan, Heilongjiang Province] Hulan Prison Officials Refuse to Grant Medical Parole to Mr. Li Zhigang
Hulan Prison's hospital officials informed Harbin City practitioner Mr. Li Zhigang's family on September 26, 2010 ,that he was in critical condition, but they refused to release him on medical parole.

6. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Additional Information Regarding Ms. Xu Cuihua and Her Husband, Mr. Xu Xiangzhi
Ms. Xu Cuihua and her husband, Mr. Xu Xiangzhi, live in Dafenggu Village. Officers from the Yuhe Township Police Station broke into their home at noon on November 24, 2010. They confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Gong books. They took the couple to the police station and transferred them to the Changningdao Detention Center that same night. The police announced that the couple would be detained for two weeks and have refused to let their families visit them.
7. [Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province] Zhaoyuan Authorities Coerce Practitioners Not to Hire Lawyers to Defend Them in Court
Seven practitioners from Zhaoyuan City--Mr. Kao Fuquan, Ms. Song Guihua, Ms. Yang Lanxiang, Ms. Diao Yunying, Ms. Fang Cuirong, Mr. Yang Wenjie, and Ms. Teng Yingfen--recently hired Beijing lawyers to enter pleas of "innocent" for them in court. But Zhaoyuan City authorities refused to allow the lawyers to meet with their clients. Prior to a court hearing, the authorities forced the practitioners to write a statement saying they wouldn't hire lawyers.

9. [Xinjian County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xiong Meiying Subjected to One Year of Forced Labor
Ms. Xiong Meiying was arrested on October 21, 2010, as she distributed information about Falun Gong at Xinfeng Farm in Shibu Township. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor and held in the Jiangxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp.

10. [Xinjian County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xia Yuzhen and Her Daughter Arrested
Ms. Xia Yuzhen and her daughter, Ms. Zeng Shufang, were arrested on November 20, 2010, as they distributed information about Falun Gong at Shatan Temple in Liuhu Township. More than a dozen officers from the Liuhu Police Station, from the Beijiao Police Station, and from the Xinjian County Domestic Security Division pried open the door to Ms. Xia's home the next day in the absence of her family members. They seized a laser printer, two color inkjet printers, a CD burner, blank CDs, and cash. Mother and daughter are in the Xinjian County Detention Center. Ms. Zeng was so frightened that her epilepsy recurred.
11. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Latest Information Regarding Ms. Song Guifang and Ms. Xiong Chenghua
Qingyang District Police Department officials issued an arrest warrant for Ms. Song Guifang on August 4, 2010. Ms. Song is in the Chengdu City Detention Center and forbidden to see her family. Ms. Xiong has been officially arrested.
12. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Circumstances of Mr. Yang Guang
Mr. Yang Guang was illegally detained for nearly one day at the Huazhong Street Police Station in the Ganjingzi District on November 25, 2010, when he went there on business. The police attempted to admit him to the Yaojia Detention Center but had to release him because a physical examination disqualified him from detention.
Dalian City Domestic Security Division officers tapped Mr. Yang's telephone and made his older brother help them find his residence on November 27, 2010, in an attempt to subject him to further persecution.
13. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liao Yuanmei and Others Arrested
Huaihua Railway police broke into ten practitioners' homes on October 22, 2010, and confiscated all of their Falun Gong books. The practitioners included Ms. Liao Yuanmei, Ms. Wu Fangmei, Ms. Yan Huixian, Ms. Wang Ji, and Ms. Gan Poufang. The police took them to the Railway Detention Center. Ms. Wu's family demanded her release and took her home that same day. Ms. Liao was released on November 22. Ms. Yan was sentenced to one year of forced labor. The other practitioners' circumstances are unknown.
15. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Circumstances of Mr. Gong Dianmin, Mr. Cong Rixu, and Mr. Xu Zhibin
Mr. Gong Dianmin, 50 years old, was given a ten-year prison term for refusing to give up Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He has been deprived of freedom for seven years in Nanguanling Prison, Ward 8, and later at Ward 7. He was placed in solitary confinement and subjected to sleep deprivation for a long time, which physically traumatized him. He is in the prison hospital.
Mr. Cong Rixu was held in the Nanguanling Prison's Ward 13 and is now in Ward 4.
Mr. Xu Zhibin and Mr. Chen Xin have been held in Jinzhou Prison for eight years. Their families are forbidden to visit them as of last year.
16. [Zunhua, Hebei Province] Ms. Sheng Jinling Arrested
Ms. Sheng Jinling, an employee at the Shirengou Iron Mine Hospital, was arrested the afternoon of November 17, 2010. Participating in the arrest were officers from the Shirengou Police Station and from the Zunhua Domestic Security Division.
17. [Dazhou, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Yan Taken to a Brainwashing Facility
Ms. Yang Yan, an employee at the Dazhou City Railway Station, was arrested on November 27, 2010. 610 Office agents took her to the Dazhou City Brainwashing Center.
18. [Zhengding County, Hebei Province] Mr. Huang Wentai and Ms. Zhang Yueying and Two Others Arrested
Ms. Wang Yuexia and Mr. Ji Junyan were arrested the morning of November 19, 2010, as they distributed information about Falun Gong at Xinchengpu Market in Zhengding County. Officers from the Xinchengpu Police Station took them to the Zhengding County Detention Center.
Mr. Huang Wentai and Ms. Zhang Yueying from Gaocheng City arrived in Xinchengpu the evening of November 23 to expose the local police's illegal arrest of Ms. Wang and Mr. Ji. Officers from the Xinchengpu Police Station arrested the two practitioners and took them to the Zhengding County Detention Center.
19. [Pingdingshan, Henan Province] Ms. Su Guohong Recently Arrested and Detained
Ms. Su Guohong was arrested on November 18, 2010, as she spoke about Falun Gong in Shangjiuwu Town, Baofeng County. She is in the Baofeng County Detention Center.
Two officers from the Baofeng County Domestic Security Division, along with police officer Yan Wei from the Hanzhuang Coal Mine, went to Ms. Su's home on November 22, and confiscated her identification card, her graduate student card, the couple's divorce certificate, and several copies of Minghui Weekly.

20. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cai Yucong Arrested
Three police officers from Daxindian Town, along with two other police officers from Longshandian, arrested Ms. Cai Yucong on November 28, 2010 in Weijia Village. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and held her in the Daxindian Police Station.
21. [Dezhou, Shandong Province] Latest Information Regarding Ms. Xing Liqiu and Mr. Wang Guoxin
Ms. Xing Liqiu and Mr. Wang Guoxin were arrested on October 12, 2010. Officers from the Dongdi Police Station and from the Domestic Security Division took them to the Dezhou City Detention Center where the practitioners were held for more than a month. They are still in custody.

22. [Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang Province] Local Police Harass Ms. Ding Naiqin
Ms. Ding Naiqin was arrested at home on November 4, 2010. She fell into a coma and was sent to a hospital and was released because her life was in danger. Officers from the Fu'an Police Station recently kept harassing her at home, ordering her to go to the police station on November 29.
23. [Huaying City, Sichuan Province] Additional Information Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Wang Xiaoqing
Ms. Wang Xiaoqing, 47 years old, is employed at the Huaying City Department Store. She rented a shop to sell clothing at Zhonggulou. A group of plainclothes police officers arrested her on November 16, 2010 at the shop where she works. She is in the Huaying City Detention Center. The police ransacked her home and her warehouse and seized several computers and informational materials.
Ms. Zhang Fuyu, 69, was also arrested at her own shop and taken to the Huaying City Police Department. Her family demanded her release and took her home at 12:40 a.m. Ms. Li Ying was taken to the Huaying City Police Department that same day. Her husband demanded her release the next morning and took her home.
Plainclothes police officers monitored several practitioners' homes the day following Ms. Wang's arrest.
24. [Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Wu Xiangbing and Ms. Chen Aiqin Arrested
Ms. Wu Xiangbing was arrested the afternoon of November 17, 2010, on her way home. Officers from the Xiacheng District Police Department made the arrest. Her home was ransacked, and her Falun Gong books and computer were confiscated. She is in the Yuhang Detention Center. Her husband, Mr. Wang Dawu, is still in a Linping prison. Her elderly parents and her high school-aged son are now on their own.
We learned that Ms. Chen from Lin'an was also arrested.
25. [Rongcheng, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xueli and Ms. Yuan Xiaojing Arrested
Ms. Yuan Xiaojing from Wakuang Village, Chengshanwei Town, and Ms. Li Xueli from Xixiakou Village were arrested the morning of November 28, 2010, at the Chengshanwei Town Market. Participating in the arrest were officers from the town police station and from the Rongcheng City 610 Office. The practitioners' homes were ransacked. The two are in the Rongcheng City Detention Center.

26. [Taishan, Guangdong Province] Additional Information Regarding the Arrest of Mr. Yuan Xianchou
Taishan City 610 Office agents arrested Mr. Yuan Xianchou the afternoon of November 26, 2010. It was his third arrest. He was held in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp following his previous two arrests.

27. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Ms. Luo Jiangying Went Missing Two Years Ago
Ms. Luo Jiangying, in her 30s, is a former nurse with the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat Sen University of Medical Sciences. She was held in the Chatou Women's Forced Labor Camp between 2000 and 2002. After March 2004, Ms. Luo was incarcerated in Tianhe Brainwashing Center for several months. Following her release she returned to her place of employment. She was arrested again in 2008. Her whereabouts have been unknown ever since.
28. [Huai'an, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Yang Haijiang to Be Tried
Ms. Yang Haijiang works in Huai'an City. She was arrested as she spoke with people about Falun Gong and faces trial at the end of November or early December.
29. [Dazhou, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Yan Taken to a Brainwashing Facility
Tongchuan District 610 Office agents rushed into the Cargo Statistics Office at the Dazhou Railway Station at noon on November 26, 2010. They dragged the working Ms. Yang Yan into a police vehicle and took her to the Dazhou City Brainwashing Center. Prior to this arrest, 610 Office agents made two unsuccessful attempts to take Ms. Yang to a brainwashing facility, but her employers stopped them.

30. [Tongcheng, Hubei Province] Circumstances of Ms. Wang Xinqing and Others
Tongcheng County Domestic Security Division officer Li Yingcan and others broke into the homes of practitioners Ms. Wang Xinqing, Ms. Huang Aihua, and Mr. Hu Shixiang around 11:00 a.m. on November 24, 2010. The officers pushed the practitioners into a police vehicle and proceeded to ransack their homes, seizing their cash, other personal property, and bank deposit books. Ms. Wang and Mr. Hu's home ceilings were searched, and their DVD players were confiscated, as was Ms. Huang's more than 2,000 yuan cash and bank deposit book.
Ms. Huang was released around 3:00 p.m. that same day. The two other practitioners are still in the detention center.
