(Clearwisdom.net) When the Mid-Autumn Festival arrived, I remembered my chemistry teacher, Ms. Zhu Huimin, whom I had studied with at the Wuhan First Business Vocational School. I come from a suburban area far from the city, and was from a poor family, so I didn't talk a lot when I was at school. Yet every time I attended chemistry class my mood changed. Teacher Zhu was very simple and very kind. She was considerate of every student, especially those students who came from far-away places like myself. She often told me not to have such low self esteem, to be more confident, and that human nature cannot be judged by where someone is from.

Actually, deep down inside I really didn't like chemistry. But when I thought about Ms. Zhu, it gave me the energy to study my chemistry textbook. During class time I gradually asked questions more confidently. Every time I was encouraged by Ms. Zhu I felt more confident. I have two younger sisters and one younger brother that need to go to school. Every month my family's financial situation was very tight because my family was poor. Ms. Zhu often came to my dormitory and brought some nice shirts, good pants and delicious snacks for me. I remember once I had no money to go home, and after Ms. Zhu found out, she bought a ticket for me to return home.

I have been working to improve my financial situation. After I got married and had a child, I became more understanding of the hardships of life. If Ms. Zhu hadn't helped and encouraged me in my life and in my studies, I probably would not have the success I have today. Every moon festival I always give her a call or visit her. I remember one year I went to visit her and she looked very excited and told me that she was practicing Falun Gong. When Ms. Zhu was young, she was forced to be a farmer by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It hurt her body a lot. She was even forced to join water dam construction projects. She was given no hot meals and needed to compete with males. The hard labor gave her many health problems. Ms. Zhu liked to study and learn new things. During those hard times she used any opportunity or free time she had to study the few books that she found. She later went to the university, then to Wuhan First Business Vocational School to teach after she graduated. She remained single because of her poor health.

Ms. Zhu simply said that after she started practicing Falun Gong, her headaches, insomnia and all other diseases disappeared. Her usual sad face began to smile. Before I left, Ms. Zhu gave me the most precious book,Zhuan Falun, and told me to take a good look.

I was worried about Ms. Zhu at that time because the CCP was doing so many bad things, including defamation, disinformation, and attacks against Falun Gong. Sure enough, the bad news soon spread that Ms. Zhu was handing out flyers in a shopping center and the police had sent her to Hewan Labor Camp for a year of forced labor.

Ms. Zhu's parents both work in government departments. Decades of ideological and political movements have clouded their independent minds, and they have lost their ability to judge right from wrong and only follow the party's lead. Her parents felt that the forced labor camp failed to transform Ms. Zhu, so they called the 610 Office, who then sent her to Hubei Province Tangxun Lake Brainwashing Center.

After Ms. Zhu returned from the brainwashing center, she worked for a couple of years. Her life was fairly peaceful, but in October 2008, Wuhan City Domestic Security agents went to her school again and arrested her. They searched Ms. Zhu, stole her house key, and ransacked her house, confiscating several of her belongings. She was put back in Hewan Forced Labor Camp for 15 months. She returned home in October 2009.

When the 2010 New Year arrived, I visited Ms. Zhu's house a few times, but no one was there. I called the school a couple of times. A teacher told me that she was arrested again and was taken to Wuhan's Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center before the new year. After many setbacks, I was able to find the location of the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center. That center is beside the Changjiang River in an abandoned primary school in Wuhan. It is surrounded by a wall with barbed wire on it, and the metal gate was locked. If I stood on the river bank, I could see a banner slandering Dafa hanging inside on the wall. The door on every floor was locked, and the police and staff would rush around from time to time. Falun Gong practitioners were illegally detained there for years and years.

I knocked on the heavy metal gate. An officer on duty, with an expressionless face, said coldly, "What?" I told him who I was and that I wanted to see Ms. Zhu. The guard rolled his eyes and looked at me from top to bottom then told me, "No one but her immediate family can see her." He then closed the gate. I had spent two hours driving there from the city. I asked so many people where the old primary school was, but after talking just two sentences, I was denied entry. I really couldn't accept this situation so I knocked loudly again, but the gate never re-opened.

Ms. Zhu's situation is just the tip of the iceberg of what has happened during the 11 years that the CCP has persecuted Falun Gong. The CCP locks up healthy people in a metal house for a long time and forces them to read books and watch videos that they don't want to watch. They force them to write words that they don't want to write. Isn't that mental persecution? I appeal to all the teachers, students, and alumni from the Wuhan First Business Vocational School to give a helping hand, be concerned for Ms. Zhu's situation, and register complaints to the authorities. Let Ms. Zhu return to her school.

The moon is bright in the sky again. It's a time for families to reunite. Ms. Zhu, we all hope you can come home as soon as possible.
