(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in seven provinces. In this report, five practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least nine practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dongying, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Fan's Prison Term Extended by Another Three Years

Practitioner Ms. Wang Fan from Dongying was imprisoned for three years in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. When her term was completed, the perpetrators claimed that due to Ms. Wang's refusal to be "transformed" over the past three years, they extended her term by another three years. The guards refused visits by Ms. Wang's family.

3. [Jinzhou, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Zhanshan Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Liu Zhanshan, in his 60s, was arrested by officers from the Longjiang Police Station at the Linghe District of Jinzhou at around 3:00 p.m. on September 25, 2010, when he talked to people about Falun Gong. Mr. Liu is currently detained at Longjiang Police Station.

4. [Fushun, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Haifeng Arrested

Mr. Sun Haifeng is a practitioner from the Man Ethnicity Autonomous County of Xinbing, in Fushun City. He was arrested by officers from the Xinbing Town Police Station on September 25, 2010.

5. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Shuwen Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Chen Shuwen from Shenyang was arrested on April 23, 2010. She was released after being detained for 27 days. Four hours after she returned home, Ms. Chen was arrested again and taken to Zaohua Detention Center in Shenyang City. The police extorted 5,000 yuan from her family.

6. [Yushu, Jilin Province] Mr. Wu Xiaoguang Arrested

Three or four police officers arrested Mr. Wu Xiaoguang at his clinic at around 6:00 p.m. on September 25, 2010.

7. [Beijing] The Son of Mr. Wang Zicheng Arrested

Police officers from the Domestic Security Division arrested the son of detained practitioner Mr. Wang Zicheng from the Pinggu District of Beijing at 9:00 p.m. on September 25, 2010, and took him to the Pinggu District Criminal Police Brigade.

8. [Beijing] Mr. Li Wenbin Detained

Mr. Li Wenbin told people about Falun Gong at his workplace, the Beijing Second Machine Tools Factory, at 3:00 p.m. on June 12, 2010. He was reported and arrested. The police took him to Lugouqiao Police Station and ransacked his home.

On September 23, 2010, Mr. Li was given two years of forced labor and transferred to Xin'an Forced Labor Camp, in Tiantanghe, Daxin County. He is currently detained in the Seventh Confinement.

9. [Qinghuangdao, Hebei Province] Mr. Pei Yanqing Arrested

Mr. Pei Yanqing went to Dahenan Village to clarify the truth door-to-door. He was reported and detained at the Qinglong County Detention Center on September 1, 2010. He was transferred to the Qinghuangdao Forced Labor Camp for a one-and-a-half-year term on September 3, 2010. Mr. Pei is from Shandong Village, in Mutoudeng Town of Qinglong County.

10. [Langfang, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Shuxia Arrested

Ms. Hao Shuxia, in her 60s, told people about Falun Gong at Xianghe on the morning of September 24, 2010. She was arrested by officers from the Qianghe County Police Bureau.

11. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Maozhen Detained at a Brainwashing Center

Ms. Chen Maozhen, 79, from Chengdu, went out to distribute truth clarification materials on September 16, 2010. She was arrested by officers from the Yangliu Village Police Station. They ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and materials. Ms. Chen is currently detained at the Shuangliu Brainwashing Center.

12. [Xiaogan, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Junying Detained at the Wuhan Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liu Junying had been detained at the Xiaogan Administrative Detention Center since she was arrested on September 5, 2010. On September 19, Ms. Liu was secretly transferred to the Wuhan Brainwashing Center.

13. [Shenzhen, Guangdong Province] Mr. Liu Xifeng Detained at a Brainwashing Center

Mr. Liu Xifeng from Shenzhen was disabled after being imprisoned and persecuted in Sihui Prison for nearly ten years. Mr. Liu was recently taken to the Xili Brainwashing Center in Shenzhen to be persecuted further.

14. [Fuzhou, Fujian Province] Ms. Xu Xiaohua Arrested

Ms. Xu Xiaohua is employed at a company in Fuzhou. On September 16, 2010, she sent a text message from her cell phone. The police located her through her cell phone and followed her. She was later arrested and her home ransacked. The police confiscated her computer and personal items.
