(Clearwisdom.net) My wife and I were both young and aggressive when we were married in 1993, and we didn't know how to endure at that time. We often fought over trivial things, and our parents worried about us. I often complained that my wife wasn't considerate of me, and I never admitted my own mistakes.
After I started practicing Falun Dafa, I understood that regardless of what I encountered, I should look inward. I gradually learned to be tolerant and considerate of others. When I later had conflicts with my wife, I knew that I should be tolerant of her and avoid fighting with her. At first, this was very difficult for me, and I restrained myself to keep from fighting back. I thought to myself, "I'm a Dafa disciple, I have to endure." As I've studied the Fa more and more, I have gained a deeper understanding of "forbearance." Although I am not as peaceful as some veteran practitioners, I have experienced the benefits of being tolerant. I have become increasingly calm, and the conflicts with my wife have become less frequent.
I understand that the Fa's principles help me resolve these conflicts. My family life has now become very harmonious, and we now rarely have conflicts or arguments.
