(Clearwisdom.net) On September 26 and 27, 2010, officers from the Linyi 610 Office and the Linyi Police Department ransacked the homes of twelve Falun Gong practitioners in the Lanshan and Hedong Districts. Three of them were taken away.
Mr. Wang Qingzhong was a professor in the Department of Physics in Linyi Normal College and now is the chairman of Xintianli Mechanical Ltd. in Linyi City. At 8 a.m. on September 26, 2010, officers from the Linyi 610 Office and the Yucailu Police Station took him away from his home. At the same time, officers from the Linyi 610 Office and the Yitang Police Station locked down the Xintianli Company and restricted the personal freedoms of the employees and customers at the company. The police rummaged through all the offices in the two-story building. They did not find anything but took away a hard disk. Currently, Mr. Wang is being detained in the Linyi Detention Center.
Ms. Liu Yucai, in her 60s, is a retired healthcare worker. On September 26, 2010, her home was ransacked and she was arrested. Currently, she is being detained in the Linyi Detention Center.
On the morning of September 26, 2010, officers from the Linyi 610 Office ransacked the home of Ms. Li Hua in the Lanshan District, confiscating Falun Gong books and other informational materials.
At 2 p.m. on September 26, 2010, Jiao Feng, who works for the Family Planning Office affiliated with the Zhenqing Group in Linyi City, led two men and two women from the Domestic Security Team and a driver to ransack the home of Mr. Xu Zengheng who works in the same office as Jiao. Without presenting any identification, they took away Falun Gong books, a broken computer, a printer and other property.
At 8 a.m. on September 27, 2010, about twenty people from the Domestic Security Team, the Yizhoulu Police Station, the Linyi 610 Office and the Residential House Management Company went to the home of Mr. Zhu Faming in Fumin Residential Area, Lanshan District. After the house management personnel deceived Mr. Zhu into opening the door, the group ransacked his home and arrested him.
Other practitioners who were harassed include Zhang Baoquan from Qianshi Village, Sun Maoming from Baolitun, Zhang Fengjun from Nanfang, Duan Jiazhi from Miaozhuang, Wang Yuxin, a retired teacher from the First Elementary School, Li Yanli, and Zhang Yubei from Songwangzhuang.
