My Sister and Her Husband's Endless Gratitude

(Clearwisdom.net) My eldest sister and her husband live in Xingwang Village, Zunhua City, Hebei Province and they started practicing Falun Gong in the Fall of 2005. Before, they had all kinds of illnesses, and my sister had a herniated disc in her spine. She could not walk easily and spent most of her time lying in bed. She also had hypertension and frequently had headaches, dizziness and felt weak. Moreover, she had rheumatism throughout her entire body and both hands and feet were numb. My brother-in-law had hypertension, diabetes, cerebral infarction and stomach cancer; two thirds of his stomach had been surgically removed. The old couple depended on lots of medication to maintain their lives and they had to spend nearly 100 yuan on their medicine each day. My brother-in-law's retirement money was almost all spent on various medicines. Every day they sincerely prayed, asking for help.

One day in the fall of 2005, Mr. Wang, a Falun Gong practitioner and also a colleague of my brother-in-law, visited them and advised them to practice Falun Gong. However, this old couple said that they had already believed in Jesus and would not believe in anything else. My brother-in-law was also deeply poisoned by the communist Party's propaganda, and thus did not have a favorable opinion of Falun Gong. The old couple refused to listen to Mr. Wang's suggestion. Nevertheless, Mr. Wang was not discouraged. The second day he and another elderly practitioner visited my sister and my brother-in-law again and explained the beauty and the miraculous healing effects of Falun Gong. They enumerated many facts to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) lies. Although the old couple still had doubts, this time they could not refuse the righteous intentions of Mr. Wang and the other practitioner; they said they would try Falun Gong by reading the book as a start.

The next day, Mr. Wang visited my eldest sister again and brought a copy of Zhuan Falun and a copy of a video CD teaching the exercises. This old couple was finally moved by the sincerity of the Falun Gong practitioners and they decided to start reading the book that evening. My brother-in-law also withdrew from the CCP using an alias.

That evening, the elderly couple sat on their bed and took turns reading Zhuan Falun. While one read, the other one listened. While reading the book, my sister suddenly felt something being removed from her body; she felt her body immediately relax. She felt her body warm up and could feel her head also relaxing and she was no longer dizzy. She was extremely happy. My brother-in-law also felt something was turning in his body but he did not know what was happening. He asked Mr. Wang afterwards. Mr. Wang told him that those were all good things and told him that Master was purifying his body with a Falun.

Upon hearing this, my sister and her husband gave a sincere and heartfelt sigh, "What Falun Gong practitioners have been saying is all true!" From then on, they read Zhuan Falun most sincerely and started seriously learning the five sets of exercises.

One week later, the couple reduced the dosage of their medicine from three times a day to two times a day. Half a month later they stopped taking any of the medications to observe for one week what would happen. Without medication, my sister's and her husband's blood pressure and her husband's blood sugar all returned to normal. Their blood pressure and blood sugar levels were even better than the they had been while taking all the medicines. They were happy and in good spirits and they had a good appetite. Their complexions were healthy and they walked with renewed energy. They were able to do all kinds of housework and able to go out to their farmland to do farm work.

This couple really enjoyed the feeling of being without any illness and experienced the enormous physical and mental benefit from practicing Falun Gong. My sister told Mr. Wang with tears in her eyes, "Dafa is really good and really miraculous! If I had known this, I would have already started practicing earlier. Dafa has blessed us and mercifully saved us, and we will forever and ever be deeply grateful. We will use our personal experience to introduce Dafa to people, to expose the CCP's lies and to let the people understand the truth and withdraw from the CCP in order for them to be saved."

Now my sister and her husband are carrying out their promises. They are using every opportunity to tell their relatives and friends about the beauty of Dafa and they have already persuaded more than a thousand people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. They have helped many people to begin practicing Falun Gong. The elderly couple said, "The people are deceived by the CCP's lies. We must save as many of them as possible."
