(Clearwisdom.net) We were happily looking forward to the sold out Shen Yun shows in Hong Kong on January 27, 2010, when news arrived of Shen Yun's forced cancellation due to Chinese Communist Party interference. Some of us were disappointed and feeling helpless, some were sad and depressed, and many were angry. Our human hearts were moved by the changes in the situation.
We believe all these cultivation states are not up to par with the requirements of the Fa. We need to continue doing the three things well, and pay attention to the following:
1. Our Minds Should not Be Moved when the Situation Worsens
Master taught us in "Teaching the Fa at the Conference in the Midwest-U.S.,"
"Under trying circumstances of any type, you must all keep steady in thought. Just by staying unaffected you will be able to handle all situations."
Not only should we be staying steady when the situation turns worse, but also not moved if the situation turns better. Only when we can keep steady thoughts when circumstances turn better and not have zealotry, can we be sure not to waver when things are not so favorable to us, and not let our human mindset weaken our righteous thoughts.
2. Looking inside, Cultivate Ourselves Well, and Upgrade Our Xinxing
Looking inward, we could tell the cancellation of the Shen Yun shows In Hong Kong directly related to our attachments. When we heard that Shen Yun would be performing in Hong Kong, we were so happy, and we all knew clearly the CCP would use all its might to stop such a wonderful event. It is like poison, and it is impossible for it to not be like poison, for it not to do harm and interfere. How many of us immediately began sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil? When The CCP was using all its might to do damage, did we use all our strength to cleanse out the evil?
Some of us started to send forth righteous thoughts one month after the tickets sold out, though it was around January 23, 2010 when we saw the evil doing harm. Although we enlightened that we needed to increase our strength, it was a bit too late.
Knowing the evil would do harm, but us failing to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate it, is equal to leaving a gap for the evil to exploit. To our disciples, this gap was not intentional, but it shows deep down inside how we failed to enlighten that we are the only hope for humankind's salvation, and we are the main characters in today's history. In other words, we failed to truly melt into the Fa, take Shen Yun as our own matter, but unintentionally took the bystander's role. Our zealotry was not removed, but was used by the evil.
If we failed to eliminate our zealotry when our wish did not come true, more human mindsets would surface, which directly decreased our righteous thoughts and further resulted in our circumstances turning worse. Therefore, all Falun Dafa disciples should looking inside, find our human attachments, quickly upgrade our xinxing as particles of the Fa, truly melt into the Fa, and cooperate well as one body. With that we can play the main role in guiding human society.
3. Eliminate Human Mindsets, and Turn Bad Things into Good Things
Master taught us,
The Fa-rectification will definitely succeed, and Dafa disciples will definitely succeed. ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Western U.S. Fa Conference")
The Shen Yun shows in Hong Kong will also definitely succeed. The seven shows were sold out in five days, which proves how eagerly people want to see Shen Yun. The CCP dared to force us to cancel the shows which does not prove how strong it is, but to the contrary, exposed how extremely weak and desperate are its last attempts. The CCP is exposing itself by letting the world witness its scoundrel true nature. This is a most direct and effective case to help us clarify the truth. We take this opportunity to explain the facts of how Shen Yun is being blocked, enable sentient beings to quickly see the CCP's vile nature, and be rid of the evil faster. Isn't that turning a bad thing into a big good thing?
4. Continue Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts for Shen Yun Shows in Hong Kong
Shen Yun is being done by Master, and is a huge undertaking of salvation that we disciples shoulder together. We are fulfilling our historical vows by cooperating well globally, taking the initiative to form a mighty one body, and sending forth righteous thoughts for Shen Yun simultaneously. We should not put our hope in protests by the Hong Kong people, or the United States government or other governments' support, let alone any societal or natural environmental changes. We welcome and appreciate all people's support and sincere gratitude, and their condemnation of the CCP. They are actively choosing their futures. This is the goal of the Shen Yun performance, which is Falun Dafa offering people a chance to be saved, and to win the right of entering the future.
As Falun Dafa disciples, we can utilize the words and actions of people in society, as well as natural environmental changes to save more sentient beings, but we cannot rely on these, or simply sit and wait. Dafa is saving people, and disciples are assisting Master with saving beings. We must rely on our firm righteous thoughts derived from solid faith in Master and Dafa, and rely on our mighty virtue and mercy cultivated from Dafa to succeed. Otherwise, nothing can save today's people.
We hereby suggest all Falun Dafa disciples worldwide to persist in sending forth righteous thoughts to enable Shen Yun to perform in Hong Kong. We must strengthen our energy as long as the evil still dares to interfere, until Shen Yun performs successfully in Hong Kong.
