(Clearwisdom.net) On January 23, the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology held its 29th Chinese New Year celebration. The Chinese section of the museum displays many collections from China. Several groups were on hand to perform a traditional Chinese lion dance, demonstrate martial arts, and play traditional instruments. Local Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated their peaceful exercises.

Learning the exercises

Westerners liked the calligraphy, which reads "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

Many visitors watched the demonstration, and some learned the exercises. Practitioners also had a booth. They passed out informational materials, telling people about the beauty of Falun Gong and exposing the brutal persecution.

Practitioners also made calligraphy art works that read "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and gave them to the visitors, who were very pleased to accept them.

It was the 13th year in a row that Falun Gong has been invited to this celebration. Practitioners also had a booth to promote the Shen Yun Performing Arts show, which attracted many tourists.
