(Clearwisdom.net) (By a correspondent from Heilongjiang Province) Ms. Wang Xiuyue has lost the ability to take care herself after seven years in prison. She is qualified to be released for medical reasons, but the officers in her neighborhood police station have hindered the process.

Ms. Wang was arrested at home for practicing Falun Dafa in 2003 by officers from her neighborhood police station, the Gexin Police Station in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. She has been imprisoned in the Heilongjiang Women's Prison for the past seven years.

In July 2009, she developed symptoms of cerebral hemorrhage. She was constantly hunched over, could not walk, and lost the ability to take care of herself. An official medical evaluation stated she was suffering from "severe illness and at high-risk," but she was re-imprisoned in the Heilongjiang Women's Hospital because officers of the Gexin Police Station refused to sign her papers.

For appealing for the right to practice Falun Dafa in 2000, Ms. Wang, in her 60s, was illegally detained for more than a year at a detention center in the Yaziquan area of Harbin City. In 2001, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor, which was served in Wanjia Forced Labor Camp.

When she was last arrested in 2003, officers in the Gexin Police Station covered her head with a cotton comforter and coat. She almost suffocated, and her blood pressure was up to 260 mmHg.
