(Clearwisdom.net, Hebei) Falun Gong practitioners, Ms. Wang Rongjiu and Ms. Ma Rencui, from Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province were arrested while clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to people. Chinese Communist Party (CCP) police ransacked their homes and the practitioners were beaten while being interrogated.
Ms Rencui suffered from cerebral hemorrhage after being mistreated by police
Ms. Ma Rencui is 58 years old. On July 23, 2008, when she was distributing informational materials in the Basanli Residential Area of Qinhuangdao City, she was reported to the police. She was arrested and taken to the Beihuan Street Police Station in Qinhuangdao City.
At police station, while being interrogated by the police, Ms. Ma was tortured, beaten, abused, intimidated and berated. Without a warrant, the police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books. That night she was detained at the Second Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City. As a result of the cruel torture she received while at the Beihuan Street Police Station, Ms. Ma suffered from hypertension. Twenty one days after she was sent to the Second Detention Center, she was released for medical treatment.
However, after she was released, a local residential committee kept harassing her and imposed a tremendous amount of mental pressure upon her and her family. In April 2009, Ms. Ma suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and fell into coma. She remained in a semi-conscious state and has been unable to lead a normal life ever since.
Prior to practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Ma suffered from hypertension and slight cerebral thrombosis. After practicing Falun Gong, she followed Falun Gong principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and all of her illnesses disappeared.
Ms. Wang Rongjiu, 65 years old, arrested and mistreated
Ms. Wang Rongjiu is 65 years old. On August 5, 2009, when she was distributing truth-clarification videos, she was reported to the police. Five to six police officers body-searched Ms. Wang. Many people crowded around her to see what was happening. Ms. Wang spoke loudly to the crowd. "Remember that 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good'." She was arrested and taken in a police car to the Changjiangdao Police Station in Qinhuangdao City. At the police station, the police tortured Ms. Wang in an attempt to get her to confess to wrongdoing.
The police then ransacked her home and confiscated her private property. She was detained in the police station for 16 hours without anything to eat or drink and then she was released.
Ms. Wang suffered from many diseases before practicing. In the ten years she practiced Falun Gong, she regained her health. Ms. Wang tried to be a good person and act according the principles of Falun Gong.
In 2000, Ms. Wang went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. She was arrested and held at the Second Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City for one month. Her home was also ransacked by the police. In 2004, she was arrested again and detained in the Second Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City. She was released 15 days later.
In May 2005, Ms. Wang went to Beidaihe City, Hebei Province to distribute information about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was reported to the police by people who were deceived by the CCP's propaganda about Falun Gong. She was arrested and taken to the Caigezhuang Police Station. The police beat, kicked and slapped her in the face, then ransacked her home. She was later detained at the Second Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City.
In July 2009, when Ms. Wang was talking to people about Falun Gong at the Haiyang Market in Qinhuangdao City, she was reported to the police. She was arrested and taken to the Haiyang Police Station.
