(Clearwisdom.net) I was a teacher at one time. Because of the persecution, I lost my job in January, 2005. In 2007, I worked with a practitioner who had the same situation as mine to start a tutoring center.
At the center, we guided students to be honest, kind, and tolerant towards people and correct their thoughts and actions. The power of Falun Dafa awakened our students' wisdom. After they came to the center, both their academic achievements and behavior improved.
Each time when new students came to the center, more senior students told them that the students at this school first needed to learn how to be an honest, kind and tolerant person. When you encounter some problems from someone, you should thank him instead of fighting with him. This is because he has given you virtue and more virtue means more wisdom, and as a result, you will increase your academic achievements and have a good future. The students at our school understood this and used the Fa to discipline themselves. Students often tell us, "So-and-so swore at me, but I didn't fight back. I learned how to tolerate it and gain virtue." Parents said that their children told them the teachers are very good and kind people, who did not need to use physical punishment or shout. The teachers established their natural authority by setting the example for good, kind behavior.
Our lessons are consistent with the Fa. I taught students that man's nature at birth was good, but nowadays many people are selfish and hypocritical because they have lost their natural selves, and we should return to our original selves. I assigned the students to write an essay entitled "Return Home," and they did pretty well. Many wrote that they did not know before what human nature was all about and how to conduct themselves, but now they realize that they had lost the most treasured part of their lives. They decided to rediscover these principles and return home with truthfulness, compassion and forbearance.
After the first semester, police officers sealed up the learning center. Starting the center was to rectify the Fa and save sentient beings. Our center should not have been closed. Therefore, we visited government offices and clarified the truth to them.
Later, we found another place to continue running the learning center. Due to continuing interference, we were forced to move four times, but we kept on clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. Over the last year and a half, under Master's compassionate protection, we made it through the arduous journey.
