(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners participated in the 27th Pako Festa Parade in Geelong, Victoria, a seaside town close to Melbourne, Australia on February 28, 2009.
Falun Dafa in the Pako Festa Grand Parade
Over 60 groups from different countries and different cultural backgrounds participated in the parade, turning the streets into a cultural festival.
The Falun Dafa procession was led by Divine Land Marching Band, followed by an exercise demonstration, dancers in Tang Dynasty costumes, fan dancers and waist drummers. This was the first time practitioners had taken part in the Pako Festa Parade, and the first such demonstration practitioners had ever given in Geelong. Spectators met the group with warm applause and cheers.
In the afternoon, practitioners performed on stage.
