(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 20, 1999, personnel from the Domestic Security Division of the New City District in Baoding City, Hebei Province have followed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Director Lu Wusuo, police officers, including Chen He and Zhang Lin, have illegally arrested Falun Gong practitioners, ransacked their houses and confiscated money and property from them.
In the beginning of 2008, practitioners Zhu Lanying and Wang Huang, both from Shenzhuang County, were arrested and sent to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.
Practitioner Huo Ruihua, who is 68 years old, became homeless due to the persecution.
Another practitioner, Ms. Kong Hongyun, 36 years old, used to be a doctor. People from the domestic security division of the New City District illegally arrested Ms. Kong, ransacked her house and closed her clinic. People from the Yimian Police Station and the Domestic Security Division, as well as the Procuratorate, have repeatedly fabricated evidence and attempted to sentence her. Now, her case is in the sentencing stage. Ms. Kong Hongyun has been detained at the Baoding Detention Center for nearly three months.
On July 1, 2008, four police officers broke into Ms. Xie Xiuying's house without showing a warrant. They took away her printer, truth-clarification CDs and materials, Dafa books, pictures of Master and three MP3 players. At 10 p.m., they arrested her and took her to the Baoding Forced Labor Camp. On July 3, the police sent Ms. Xie to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor camp without notifying her family.
On July 17, practitioners Li Shunli, Li Yukui, and Zhang Yueming were illegally arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division and the Xiezhuang Police Station. Li Yukui's house was ransacked. Li Shunli and Li Yukui are being detained in a brainwashing center near the Wool Spinning Factory in Baoding. Zhang Mingyue is being detained at the Xiezhuang Police station.
Recently, people from the 610 Office in Baoding City have ordered police officers to closely monitor practitioners and force them to submit fingerprints, signatures and have their photos taken. Many practitioners have been harassed already. People from the Domestic Security Division of the New City District, the Yimian Police Station, the New Market Police Station and other police stations are primarily responsible for this latest wave of persecution.
