1. [Tongcheng County, Hubei Province] Ms. Jiang Sihua's Life Is In Danger
Ms. Jiang Sihua from Tongcheng County was locked up in the First Detention Center. She went on a hunger strike to protest her illegal arrest. The guards force-fed her, gave her shots, and beat her with belts. Her life is in danger now, but the police refuse to grant her parole for medical attention and sent her to the Hubei Women's Prison instead.

2. [Qing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Si Heying Arrested
On August 3, 2008, officers form the Qing County Public Safety Bureau arrested Ms. Si Heying, who is from Qing County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, and detained her.
3. [Dingxing City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Shuhong Arrested
In the morning of August 5, 2008, officers from the Luxi Police Station in Dingxing City arrested Ms. Ma Shuhong, who is in her 30's, and took her to the police station.
4. [Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Yinguo Arrested
On July 26, 2008, police officers arrested Ms. Gao Yinguo in Huikou Township, Pingshan County, and confiscated valuables from her.
5. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
In the morning of August 1, 2008, police officers arrested Ms. Xiao Hong (alias, 39 years old) while she visited another practitioner.
At noon on August 4, 2008, Mr. Liu Yaode and Ms. Yue Lanxiang, husband and wife, were arrested at home. The police confiscated valuables from them.
In the morning of August 5, 2008, people from the workplace of Ms. Liu Yuanzhen and the 610 Office arrested Ms. Liu at her home.
In the morning of August 5, 2008, Mr. Ba Xinmin and Ms. Wang Yumei, husband and wife, were arrested at home. The police confiscated valuables from them.
6. [Jiaonan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ding Yueping Arrested
In the afternoon of August 2, 2008, police officers in Zhangjialou Town arrested Ms. Ding Yueping when she was distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials in Zhangjialou. Officers from the Jiaonan City Public Safety Bureau went to her home to perform an illegal search and confiscated her computer and Dafa truth-clarification materials.
7. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Many Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
Since May 2008, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has arrested and imprisoned thirteen Falun Gong practitioners in the Wutongqiao area in Leshan City, Sichuan, in the name of "Olympic security." Nine of the practitioners arrested are: Ms. Chen Guifang, Ms. Lei Huirong, Ms. Li Shuhua, Ms. Zhu Yuezhen, Ms. Li Zhongfang, Ms. Yi Zhimei, Ms. Wang Xiuyun, Ms. Jiang Xiulan, and Mr. Xie Jipu.
Mr. Xie Jifu had been imprisoned for seven years. He was brutally tortured until he couldn't walk. He was released in 2007.
8. [Zhuolu City, Hebei Province] Police Arrest Mr. Yu Guicheng at Home
In the morning of August 5, 2008, police officers arrested Mr. Yu Guicheng at his home in Zhuolu City.
9. [Jilin Province] Mr. Su Zhedong Arrested
At 8 a.m. on August 1, 2008, Cui Wenzheng from the Anping Town Hall and police officers from the local police station and Domestic Security Brigade arrested Mr. Su Zhedong at his home and locked him up in a brainwashing center.
10. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Yan Arrested
In the morning of May 20, 2008, police officers arrested Ms. Zhang Yan, who is from Yanqing County, and locked her up in a forced labor camp in Wuhan City.
11. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Xue Cunjia Arrested
Mr. Xue Cunjia is an employee at the Huangdao Development Area in Qingdao City. In July 25, 2008, staff from the village commission and police officers arrested Mr. Xue and locked him up in the Liuhuapo Detention Center in Huangdao.

13. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Lin Shihua Arrested
At the end of July 2008, Yang Bing from the Chengdong Police Station in Shifang City and community security officers arrested Mr. Lin Shihua and locked him up in the Hexing Brainwashing Center in Guanghan.
14. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Zhenhong Arrested
In the morning of August 7, 2008, about seven police officers from the Zhengyanglu Police Station arrested Ms. Liu Zhenhong at home. She is currently locked up in the police station.
15. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yuecha Arrested
CCP members from Hemujing Township, Xinji City searched the home of Ms. Wang Yuecha. The police confiscated Dafa books, an MP3 player, and Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. On August 1, 2008, the police arrested Ms. Wang and locked her up in the Xinji City Detention Center.
16. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Meng Xiaoduo and Her Family Are Being Persecuted
In the evening on July 20, 2008, police officers from the Chengqu Police Station in Shenzhou City broke into the house of Ms. Meng Xiaoduo, 57, and found an article from Teacher. They then arrested her.
In December 1999, staff from the Shenzhou Town Hall arrested Ms. Meng and her oldest son and subjected them to brainwashing in the town hall for two weeks. They were also fined 1,000 yuan.
In December 2000, Ms. Meng's second son was arrested. He was released one year later. In 2002, he was arrested again in Anping County and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Currently, he is still being tortured in the Beijiao Prison in Shijiazhuang.
In April 7, 2001, Ms. Meng was taken to the town hall brainwashing center. She was released in July 30, 2002.
In October 6, 2007, officers from the Shenzhou Town Police Station arrested Ms. Meng. She was released 40 days after she paid 10,800 yuan.
17. [Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Bixu and Mr. Qiu Bingfa Arrested
On August 4, 2008, Ms. Zhao Bixu and Mr. Qiu Bingfa, who lived on 854 Farm in Yingchun, Hulin City, were arrested for distributing Falun Gong materials. The police took them to the 854 Farm Public Safety Bureau and confiscated their Dafa books, MP3 player, and Dafa materials.
18. [Beijing] Ms. Zong Cuirong Transferred to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zong Rongcui is in her 60s and used to live in Xibalizhuang, Haidian District, Beijing. On July 24, 2008, she was transferred to a brainwashing center, which is located at a nuclear industry reception office in Beiansheng Village, Sujiatun Town, Haidian District, Beijing.
19. [Wanchuan County, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
On July 20, 2008, Ms. Tian Wenhua, who lived in Kongjiazhuang, Wanchuan County, was arrested at home. The police took away her Dafa books and Teacher's pictures. That day the police arrested nine practitioners in Wanchuan Town and tried to force everyone to sign a guarantee statement to renounce Falun Gong.
On July 30, 3008, Mr. Wen Ruming, who lived in Kongjiazhuang, Wanchuan County, was arrested at home. His computer and Dafa materials were confiscated.
20. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xiao Zhongmin Arrested
On July 8, 2008, officers from the Bayilu Police Station in Dalian City arrested Mr. Xiao Zhongmin, who is 41 years old.
21. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Ran Xianmin's House Illegally Searched
In early August 2008, police officers confiscated Dafa books and a satellite receiver from the house of Ms. Ran Xianmin, who lives in Fangzhuang Villalge, Liufu Township, Jing County.
22. [Linzhou city, Henan Province] Mr. Feng Laifu's Life in Danger
Mr. Feng Laifu is currently imprisoned. He was tortured to the point where he is too weak to eat. His health has deteriorated and his life is in danger.
23. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
At 7 a.m. on August 5, 2008, police officers from the Hongdao Street Office and Police Station in Chengyang District, Qingdao City, arrested Ms. Lv Hongyan while she was at work. Later the police went to her home and confiscated all of her Dafa books.
At 9 a.m. on August 6, 2008, the police arrested Ms. Zhao Yuling and searched her house.
24. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Wenjuan Arrested
At 7 a.m. on August 6, 2008, officers from the Taihe Public Safety Bureau and Nuer Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Wenjuan, who worked at the Nuerhe Textile Mill in Jinzhou City. The police confiscated two printers and Dafa books from her home.

25. [Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
At 8 p.m. on August 5, 2008, police officers from the Yanbian Area Domestic Security Brigade arrested Ms. Wu Fengxian and Ms. Sun.
26. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jiao Jinhua Sent to a Labor Camp
In May 2008, police officers arrested Ms. Jiao Jinhua, who lived in the Lianmeng Community, Xinhua District, Shijiazhuang, because she clarified the truth about Falun Gong. Ms. Jiao was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor. She is now being tortured in the Women's Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province.
27. [Huaian County, Hebei Province] Mr. Liang Guoxiang Arrested
Mr. Liang Guoxiang lived in Chaigoubao Town, Huaian County. On July 25, 2008, Li Jiang and police officers arrested Mr. Liang and confiscated his Dafa books and pictures of Teacher.
28. [Hanzhong City, Shanxi Province] Four Practitioners Arrested and Tortured
In August 2008, police officers arrested Ms. Wen Lifang, Ms. Huang Haiying, and Ms. Bai Hanying and locked them in the Dahekan Brainwashing Center in Nanzheng County, Hanzhong City.
Ms. Liu Xiufang retired from the Xiafei Company in Chenggu County, Shanxi Province. She was arrested in May 2008 for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and locked up in the Chenggu County Detention Center.
29. [Lingshan County, Guangxi Province] The Police Persecute Ms. Huang Mingsheng
Ms. Huang Mingsheng is from Taiping Town, Lingshan County. In July 2008, the local police illegally searched her home. They confiscated her computer, printer, TV, Dafa books and truth-clarification materials, cash and bank books. Ms. Huang had to leave home to avoid further persecution.
30. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Mi Guangping and Ms. Xie Bifang Persecuted
At 11 a.m. on July 30, 2008, Mr. Mi Guangping from Suining City was arrested and locked up in the Beimen Detention Center.
On July 31, 2008, police from the Nanqiang Police Station arrested Ms. Xie Bifang from Longping Township and confiscated her Dafa books.
31. [Chongqing City] Ms. Deng Liqun Arrested
Ms. Deng Liqun is in her 60s. Officer Ren Jinglun and others from the Sanjiang Town Police Station arrested her on August 6, 2008. The police confiscated her two printers and Dafa materials. She is now locked up in the Wenjiang Detention Center.

32. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shi Wei Arrested
Ms. Shi Wei was arrested at 10 p.m. on August 4.
33. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Ronghong Arrested
In the evening of August 6, 2008, police arrested Mr. Li Ronghong in front of his home.
34. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Lianfeng Unlawfully Sentenced
Ms. Wang Lianfeng from Dongzhou District, Fushun City was sentenced to a year in prison and taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
35. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yi Shengchun Arrested
On July 25, 2008, police from Heping District arrested Ms. Yi Shengchun when she clarified the truth about Falun Gong. Ms. Yi is now locked up in the Heping District Detention Center.
36. [Tianjin City] Ms. Li Xiuxia Arrested
Ms. Li Xiuxia from Shangniantou Village, Ji County was arrested in the evening on August 6, 2008.
37. [Liangshan County, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
One day in August 2008, Ms. Zhao Guihua, Ms. Guo Xiuhua, Ms. Ding Guifeng, and Ms. Chen Qiufen from Liangshan County were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in Yangzhuangji Township, Yuncheng County. The local police arrested them and locked them up in the Yuncheng County Detention Center.
38. [Bincheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Su Cuirong Arrested
Mr. Su Cuirong is in her 70s. The police made her report to the police station every day during the Olympics. She refused to cooperate with this unreasonable demand and was thus arrested on August 7, 2008.
39. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lian Guilan Arrested
At around noon on August 7, 2008, Ms. Lian Guilan was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in Rongcheng City. Afterwards, about four officers went to her home in Beigou Village, Shidao District, Weihai City, and arrested her. She is locked up in the Rongcheng Detention Center.
40. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Mr. Cui Kejian Arrested
At 9 a.m. on August 7, 2008, about twenty police officers from the Xinxiang City Police Bureau and the Zhongtong Street Police Station went to Mr. Cui Kejian's home and arrested him. The police confiscated his computer, printer, and Dafa materials. Now, Mr. Cui is locked up in the Zhongtong Street Police Station.
41. [Hebei Province] Ms. Qi Shuying Arrested
On August 4, 2008, police officers from the Beishi District Public Safety Bureau in Baoding City arrested Ms. Qi Shuying at home and locked her up in the Baoding City Detention Center.
42. [Xiong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Erle and His Family Persecuted
In the evening on August 6, 2008, about 30 people from the Xiong County 610 Office, the Public Safety Bureau, and the Longwan Police Station broke into Mr. Liu Erle's house in Mawutou Village, Longwan Township. The police arrested Mr. Liu, his wife Ms. Dong Keping and his daughter-in-law, who is not a practitioner. His daughter-in-law was released the same day. In the morning of August 7, 2008, Mr. Liu's sister Ms. Liu Erjun went to the Longwan Township government to ask for the release of Mr. Liu and Ms. Dong, and Ms. Liu Erjun was arrested.

43. [Jiyuan City, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
On July 12, 2008, police officers arrested Mr. Kong Xiaoming and Ms. Lan Ying, who are from Sili Township, Jiyuan City, for distributing Falun Gong materials. They were detained for 15 days.
On July 14, 2008, police officers from the Sili Township Police Station and 610 Office arrested Ms. Xiaosu, who lived in Sili Township. Ms. Xiaosu was sentenced to a year in prison and sent to the Shibalihe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhenzhou City.
44. [Yinchuan City, Ninxia Province] Mr. Wang Xiangchen Tortured in Brainwashing Center
Mr. Wang Xiangchen was an employee at the Yinchuan City Public Transportation Company. Right before the Olympics, officers from the Jinfeng District Domestic Security Office and police station in Yinchuan City asked him many times to write a guarantee letter to renounce Falun Gong. Mr. Wang refused, and the police arrested him and put him in a brainwashing center on August 7, 2008.
45. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yu Zaocha Arrested
Ms. Yu Zaocha lived in Hanyang District, Wuhan City. On July 27 ,2008, officers from the Wulidun Police Station arrested Ms. Yu at home. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
46. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. and Mrs. Chen Jiazhu Arrested
On August 5, 2008, officers from the Puming Police Station arrested Mr. and Mrs. Chen Jiazhu.
47. [Chongqing City] Mr. Yu Chunfang Arrested
Ms. Yu Chunfang is a retired employee from the Chang'an Company in Jiangbei District, Chongqing City. Officers from the Qijiang Public Safety Bureau arrested Ms. Yu at 4 p.m. on July 8, 2008, and locked her up in the Jijiang County Detention Center.
