Ms. Wang Shuxia Tortured to Death While in Custody in Liaoning Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wang Shuxia, 45, was a Falun Dafa practitioner who lived in Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province. She made her living by managing a booth at the market. In January 2001, she appealed for Falun Dafa, and was arrested and detained by officers from the Diaobingshan City Police Department. She was subjected to inhuman tortures in the detention center. Guard Jin Pengfei (male) whipped her many times with a triangular belt, shocked her with electric batons, and shackled her. The physical and mental tortures caused her to become mentally disordered, and she was soon released.
In 2002, she was arrested again when she was reportedly practicing the exercises outside. She was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for a three-year term. The inhuman tortures she endured made her mental disorder become worse. Instead of releasing her, the labor camp administration locked her in solitary confinement for long periods of time with both of her hands tied up high above her. No one was allowed to contact her. She was released in 2005.
In November 2007, she played a Falun Dafa truth clarification video at a booth she was operating. Officers from Hongfang Police Station and the City Police Department arrested her, ransacked her home, and took away her TV set, DVD player, and Falun Dafa books.
On January 15, 2008, the Diaobingshan City Court held a secret trial, and sentenced her to three years in prison. On May 3, 2008, they took her to the Shenyang City Prison. On May 5, 2008, the prison guard called her family and said she had died from a stroke. When her family went to see her body, they saw all the injuries. Ms. Wang's family was very sad because she was tortured to death in less than 48 hours! They want to seek justice for her.
The prison administration is very scared that if her family sues them, more of the crimes they committed will be uncovered. They paid the family 190,000 yuan and paid all the funeral costs. People who know the true details, please provide more information.
