(Clearwisdom.net) Judong Women's Forced Labor Camp has been heartbreakingly consistent in its brutal mistreatment of Falun Gong practitioners. In the past nine years, several practitioners have become disabled as the result of torture in this camp. One of those is Ms. Huang Hongping, who suffered paralysis of the lower half of her body. Another one is Ms. Zhou from Yangzhou, who lost the use of her legs in 2001 and had to rely on others to get through the day, including using the toilet. The persecution still continues today. The situation is especially bad in the Third Division, where the guards use all kinds of inhumane methods to mistreat and abuse the practitioners.

Ms. Dai is a practitioner from Dachang in Nanjing City. The labor camp guards used electric batons to shock her private parts every day for almost two weeks.

Ms. Li Xiufang is 46 years old. In less than a month in 2007 she became limp as a result of torture, and no treatment could help her recover. The guards refused to let her eat, drink or go to the bathroom. They also forced her to curse others.

Ms. Hu Zhenru is in her 60s. She is steadfast in her belief and refused to cooperate with any of the guards' instructions. The guards, including Zhou Ying and Hong Ying from the Third Division, tortured her and urged other inmates to torture her. They kicked her and beat her with shoes, raising a lump on the back of her head. Half of a ear was torn off during the beating.

Ms. Liu Qinfang is in her 60s. She is from Wujin County in Changzhou City and was sent to the labor camp for handing out Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. Due to torture in the Third Division, her blood pressure rose to 170. In the summer of 2007, the guards tried to coerce every practitioner to write the Three Statements (not to practice Falun Gong). Ms. Liu refused to cooperate. The guards put her in a small cell for harsher treatment. They forced her to do formation drills for eight hours a day and afterwards do "homework" to denounce Falun Gong, otherwise they would not let her sleep. Moreover, inmate Lu often beat her. This went on for almost a month.

Ms. Ji Jianxia, around 50 years old, is from Nanjing City. She was sent to the labor camp twice and kept in a small cell in the Third Division for about four months. Urged on by guards Zhou Ying and Hong Ying, the inmates tortured Ms. Ji. When she refused to write the "three statements," the guards forced her to stand for long hours, depriving her of sleep, and would curse her and beat her if she even blinked. They refused to let her use the toilet and beat her when she couldn't hold it anymore. The "helpers" would soak a cleaning rag in the waste bucket and put it into her mouth. In addition, they forced her to do formation drills. One day their beating caused a big cut on her head that required several stitches. Ms. Ji was often covered with bruises from the beatings. Now she is forced to do hard labor and has to fulfill her quota of work for the day and cannot pack up until very late at night. In addition, she is forced to attend brainwashing sessions, with the inmates watching.

Ms. Gu Chunzhen, in her 50s, is from the Wujin County in Changzhou City. She was sent to the labor camp for two years and nine months for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. Guard Sun saw her as she wrote down a memorized teaching [from Master Li]. The guards forced her to write a self-criticism statement. She was not literate enough to do it. The guards ordered drug addict inmates to help her write it, or they would not let her sleep. The second time she wrote a teaching from memory, a drug addict inmate saw her and reported her to the guards. Guards Zhou Ying, Hong Ying, and Ding Hui tortured her. They forced her to squat and hand copy the labor camp rules. Plus she had to write an application every time she wanted to eat, drink water, or go to the bathroom. They forced her to squat by the bathroom door and hand copy the rules every night and wouldn't let her sleep until she finished.

In addition, when an inspection took place in 2006, the Third Division authorities locked all the Falun Gong practitioners in the workshop and didn't release them until the investigation group had left.

In order to win the title "Civilized Labor Camp," toward the end of 2006, the labor camp authorities removed the "Closed Door Management" sign on the third floor of the Third Division, but continued to persecute practitioners behind the doors. In 2007, the Third Division was again recognized with the awards of "National Women's Collective Workers" and "National Advanced Anti-Falun Gong Group."
