(Clearwisdom.net) A Human Rights Torch Relay display was recently seen
by many at the Denmark and Walpole Markets in the southwest of Western
Australia.
With more and more focus on the human rights in China as the Olympics games
approach, locals and tourists alike expressed their concerns over the Chinese
Communist Party's human rights violations in China and abroad.
Some tourists from overseas who had previously seen the Human Rights Torch in
their own country again showed their support and were happy to sign the petition
supporting human rights in China, condemning the organ harvesting from living
Falun Gong practitioners.
One tourist commented that he had seen Falun Gong practitioners in another city
of Australia and knew that Falun Gong was persecuted in China but was unclear as
to why. He had wanted to learn the true situation but hadn't taken the
opportunity previously. After speaking to the practitioners at the market he was
very grateful and said, "Sometimes you just have to wait for the right time
to hear the truth."
A light rain brought many people into the tent all at once, and after
practitioners introduced Falun Gong to one family who lived on Christmas Island,
they asked for flyers and DVDs for the many Chinese immigrants who were working
on their island.
