(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of March 24, 2008, the last Chinese Spectacular performance took place in Daegu City, Korea, to a full house. Even the director of the Artpia Theater was surprised that tickets for a Monday night show were sold out. There was a line waiting to get in the last show before it started, forcing the theater to add temporary seating.

Ms. Kim Ki-Chon, leading choreographer of the Daegu Municipal Dance Group, and Ms. Kim Mio-Sun, director of the Hae-Gin National Music Theater, were at the show.

Ms. Kim Ki-Chon was surprised at how fast the time went by when she was watching the show, "The work is of very high quality and meaningful. It exhibits traditional Chinese culture using various traditional techniques. The audience was very excited about the performance!"

Ms. Kim Ki-Chon, a senior dancer and leading choreographer

Ms. Kim Ki-Chon has trained numerous dancers in Korea and is well known in her field. She explained, "I can't pick out the best part of the show because it's all very well done, the singing, the dancing, and the music. I can see systematic basic training behind the performance because the techniques used simply can't be done in a short period of time. I heard that the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) composed all the songs. The dance and the music went very well together. There were solos in between the dancing programs, which makes a show livelier and more effective in spreading its message."

Ms. Kim Mio-Sun experienced many emotions after the show, "I had seen Chinese artistic performances before, but the DPA's show was a lot better, with dance dramas, ancient stories, and colorful dances."

Ms. Kim Mio-Sun was most impressed by "Descent of the Celestial Kings" and "The Risen Lotus Flower." She said, "The scene where gods descend to earth with phoenixes dancing and bright sunshine was impressive. In "The Risen Lotus Flower," when the angels came down to take the just women to heaven it was so touching! The background projection and the hosts' explanations during the show were well done. The dances were very graceful and the movements were in sync, rhythmic, and feminine. This is an utterly artistic performance!"
