(Clearwisdom.net) The CCP's Guan County Political & Judiciary Committee, 610 Office, and the local police department have begun a new round of persecution aimed at Falun Gong practitioners. They broadcast an announcement from an upper level authority via the Guan County TV Station on the evening of February 20, 2008, that each county, town, and township would be responsible for taking charge of Falun Gong issues in their areas, and all officials would be rewarded or punished based on their success or failure.
About 2 a.m. on February 23, 2008, village officials led the police to Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Shen Lianghua's home and forced open the gate. When no one responded, they climbed over the fence and ransacked the place, but they did not find anybody.
At around 3:30 p.m. on February 25, 2008, police station CCP Director Yao Guangmin (male) and another plainclothes officer stormed into Ms. Jiang Yanli's office located at the Guan County Public Road Bureau, took her Falun Dafa books, searched her office, then took her into custody at the Guan County Police Department. They held her in a detention center.
At 4:30 p.m. on February 28, 2008, several officers intruded into practitioner Ms. Li Xiujin's home and arrested her and her son, Her son is a non-practitioner and tried to stop the police from arresting his mother.
On the evening of March 4, 2008, more than a dozen officers from the Guan County Police Department surrounded practitioner Mr. Shen Lianghua's home located in Shenxiaotun Village. They tricked him into opening the door, arrested him, and detained him in a detention center. They have not allowed his family to visit him.
On the evening of March 8, 2008, the police arrested practitioners Mr. and Mrs. Xiaofeng (surnames unknown) from their home in Fanzhuang Village. They detained the couple and inhumanly tortured them.
On the evening of March 9, 2008, officers from the Guan County 610 Office and Police Department stormed into practitioner Mr. Guo Lianlou's home in Sanlizhuang Village, but Mr. Guo escaped. These officers then took his teenage daughter into custody, traumatizing her.
