( Ms. Jiang Jinhua, a well-known Chinese Soprano in New York watched the January 30, 2008 New York City opening performance of the Chinese New Year Splendor in Radio City Music Hall. Ms. Jiang is a Chinese woman from Indonesia, and a renowned figure in Staten Island's Chinese community. She studied in the Department of Music of the National Taiwan Normal University and went later on to study at the National Music College in Rome, Italy. Ms. Jiang has performed in New York's Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, to promote traditional Chinese arts and music. After watching the show, she praised the excellent skills of the male and female dancers and spoke especially highly of Michelle Ren, a lead dancer of the Divine Performing Arts.
