Nov. 24

Mr. Wang Shouren, a 64 year-old Falun Gong practitioner, was arrested and sentenced one year of forced labor in 2005, and18 months of forced labor in 2007. He died on September 14, 2008, two months after being released.

Mr. Xiong Anming was arrested by CCP before the Olympics and is facing trial. His wife Zhang Yulan died on November 15, 2008 due to fatal injury. Their children have no one taking care of them.

Nov. 27

The widow of a well-known musician and Falun Gong adherent who died from abuse in police custody has recently been sentenced by a Beijing court to three years in prison. Ms. Xu Na, 40, an award-winning artist, was sentenced by Beijing's Chongwen District Court in a hearing that lasted 15 minutes, according to news reports and sources inside China. Her husband Yu Zhou, a popular folk band member, died in police custody in February.

Ms. Qiu Yuxia was arrested by the Jiamusi 610 Office and the Jiamusi City Domestic Security Team on July 2, 2008, while she was hiring a lawyer to make an appeal for her imprisoned daughter Ms. Ma Duo, who is also a practitioner. She has since been imprisoned and tortured.

Nov. 28

Mr. Yang, 41, was arrested on June 30, 2008. He was sentenced to two years of forced labor and sent to the 4th Ward of the 1st Forced Labor Camp of Nanning City in the Guangxi Province. He died on November 18, 2008, while detained in the 4th Ward.

Ms. Tian was arrested again in July, 2008 and tried in November. She is disabled from previous torture.

Nov. 29

On the morning of October 30, 2008, the Jixi City Jiguan Area Court in Heilongjiang Province held a trial for Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Liu Jinglu and his wife, Ms. Sun Lixiang. During the trial, Ms. Sun accused the police of forcing her to "confess" by means of physical torture. The public prosecutor asked that the court adjourn to further investigate her claim.

Nov. 30

Mr. Li Zhengling had been jailed in a forced labor labor camp for three years because he organized about 300 people to do Falun Gong exercises in October 1999. On February 4, 2005, he was arrested again and sentenced to five years of imprisonment. He died in a police hospital on June 24, 2008. Prison officials didn't allow his family take any photo on him, and immediately cremated his body.
