1. [Beijing] Several Practitioners Arrested and Taken to a Forced Labor Camp
Several practitioners were arrested in the Shunyi District, Beijing, prior to the 17th People's Congress Conference. At the end of September 2007, practitioner Mr. Zhang Ziyun and his son were arrested in the Xidang shopping mall in the Shunyi District, and their home was later ransacked. On November 9, 2007, they were taken to a forced labor camp for two years and six months. Ms. Wang Chunjie, Ms. Zhou Suxia, Ms. Xu Xiaomin, Mr. and Mrs. Li Xin, and other practitioners were taken to the Beijing Daxing Women's Forced Labor Camp.
2. [Ninghua County, Fujian Province] Ms. Zhang Yuqing Arrested
In December 2007, Ms. Zhang Yuqing, an employee of the Ninghua County Forestry Bureau, was arrested for passing out truth-clarification materials. A county-level political and legal committee member, Yin Chuanxing, and others tried to force her not to practice Falun Gong by threatening to stop her salary.
3. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Anhui and Others Persecuted
On December 2, 2007, at 6:00 p.m., state security brigades in both Dandong
City and Fengcheng City, along with the Jiguanshan police precinct, stormed Ms.
Anhui's home, but she wasn't there. They then tried to interfere with Ms. Zhu
Dianxia's family. In the meantime, practitioner Mr. Zhu Zhongguo's parents were
searched, videotaped, and threatened by four or five officers police. The couple
became frightened and badly ill due to the stress of the situation.

4. [Danleng County, Sichuan] Mr. Chen Siming Arrested
Sometime in the morning on December 11, 2007, Mr. Chen Siming's home in Danleng County was broken into and then ransacked by State Security police. They beat Mr. Chen, twisted his arms, and tied him to the front door in the car. Then they took him to the local police station.
Mr. Chen Siming is a farmer in his 50s. He was sent to a forced labor camp for two years because he was clarifying the truth.

5. [Guinan County, Qinghai Province] Ms. Chang Youmei Persecuted at Xining Women's Forced Labor Camp
On October 14, 2007, Ms. Chang Yumei of Guinan County, was arrested while she was passing out truth-clarifying materials. She was later sent to a forced labor camp for a year. Ms. Chang is presently detained in Xining Women's Forced Labor Camp.
6. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Cuihua Arrested
On the evening of November 29, 2007, Ms. Cuihua, in her 70s, a resident of Nanqi Village, Dongting Town in Dingzhou City, was arrested while passing out truth-clarifying flyers. In the Daluzhuang village police station, she was abused and beaten so severely that her eyes bled. She was released the same day after the police extorted 1,500 yuan from her family.
7. [Yuzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Hu Xiangrong Arrested
On December 20, 2007, Ms. Hu Xiangrong of Yuzhou City was reported because she was distributing truth-clarification materials. She was then arrested by over 20 police officers from the Yuzhou State Security brigade, along with people from the Chengguan police station. They also ransacked her home.

11. [Shan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Fenglan and Ms. Qi Jiansheng Arrested
On December 24, 2007, while Ms. Wang Fenglan and Ms. Qi Jiansheng were distributing truth-clarification materials on their motorcycle, they were arrested by police from the Huangang and Fugang police stations. At around 9:00 p.m., the county state security brigade forced their way into Ms. Wang's home, ransacked it, and took away a "Jintaimei" bicycle. Currently the two women are being detained. They have been handcuffed and interrogated.

12. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] The Persecution of Mr. and Mrs. Ren Bingyu
On November 8, 2007, at around noon, the home of Mr. Ren Bingyu of Jiayuexi Village, Zhucheng City, was ransacked by local police officers, who then took one computer, three canon 4200 printers, one videotape copier, one VCD copier, one paper cutter, one book paper cutting machine, eight cases of A4 paper, some copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, some amulets (1), several MP3 players, truth-clarifying materials, one TV set, and a satellite receiver. Currently Mr. Ren has become homeless and his wife, Ms. Meng Qingying, is being detained in the Wang Village Forced Labor Camp for two years.
13. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Suzhen Arrested Again
Ms. Zhang Suzhen, a resident of Lijiazhuang Village, Meicun Town, Fangzi District, Wejfang City, was arrested by police officers from Mucun Town. Currently, she is being held behind bars in the Weifang City Detention Center.
14. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pi Yuqin and Ms. Tao Liancong Arrested.
On the evening of December 25, 2007, Ms. Pi Yuqin and Ms. Tao Liancong, who are both residents of Zhou Gezhuang Village, Langfang City, were passing out truth-clarifying materials in Jiuzhou. They were arrested by local police officers and later taken to the Langfang City Brainwashing Center.
15. [Linzhou City, Henan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested, Truth-Clarifying Materials Site Destroyed
On the morning of December 20, 2007, about seven or eight police officers from the Changzhanglin area in Linzhou City invaded the home of Ms. Shen Meilin and arrested her. The police also took away all of her equipment for makng truth-clarification materials, Dafa books, CDs, about 400 copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, among other items.
At night on December 21, 2007, the police arrested Ms. Laojiu in her home. On December 23, around 1:00 p.m., Mr. Feng Junhong was arrested in his retail picture store. These practitioners are now all being held in the Linzhou City detention center.

16. [Fuyang City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Mei Rong and Other Practitioners Arrested
On December 25, 2007, practitioners Ms. Mei Rong, 76, Mr. Lao Xuan, 73, Mr. Xu Xiangrong, and Ms. Xiuzhen and her husband were arrested and are now detained in the Fuyang Detention Center.
On June 5, 2007, Ms. Sun Xiao and Mr. Feng Haifu were arrested and then detained in the Fuyang Detention Center. Mr. Feng refused to give up his belief in Dafa, so he was transferred to Shiliping Forced Labor Camp in Zhejiang Province, where he became disabled due to severe torture.
17. [Xiamen City, Fujian Province] Mr. Xu Xiaoqiang and Others Illegally Sentenced
On December 27, 2007, at around 3:00 p.m., the Siming District Court in Xiamen City forced Mr. Xu Xiaoqiang, Ms. Lai Jiyan, and Mr. Chen Hongcai to go through a staged trial, after which they were illegally sentenced.
18. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Plainclothes Police Officer Trails and Arrests Practitioner
On December 27, 2007, at around 10:00 a.m., a Yingcheng City practitioner, Mr. Hu, was distributing truth-clarifying materials. He was trailed and then arrested by a plainclothes police officer near the chemical factory entrance.
19. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] The Persecution of Mr. Xie Wutang
In September 2007, Mr. Xie Wutang was sentenced by the Tianxin District Court to four years and eight months in prison. He filed an appeal. In November 2007, the Changsha City Mid-court upheld the original sentence in a second trial. Currently, Mr. Xie is being detained at the Hunan Second Detention Center in the Changde-Jin City prison.
Mr. Xie Wutang, who is almost 70, has gone through more than five months of both physical and mental torture. As a result, he has become extremely weak and his weight has gone from 160 pounds to a mere110 pounds.

20. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gao Xuiliang Forced to Become Homeless
On the morning of December 24, 2007, four police officers broke into the home of Mr. Gao Xueliang and took away his Falun Dafa books, Teacher's picture, and truth-clarification materials. As a result, Mr. Gao was forced to become homeless to avoid further persecution and arrest.
21. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yi Minghong in Labor Camp
On November 24, 2007, Ms. Yi Minghong, an employee of Changsha City's public transportation department, was passing out truth-clarification flyers and was arrested by the Wangcheng County police. After being detained for 12 days, she was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. Currently, she is being detained in Hunan Province's Baimalong Forced Labor Camp.
22. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yu Shoujin, Ms. Wang Zhongqiong, and Ms. Chen Ru Persecuted
On October 12, 2007, Mr. Yu Shoujin was sent by Shifang City's State Security Brigade to Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp for a year. Ms. Wang Zhongqiong and Ms. Chen Ru are currently detained in the Deyang and Guanghan detention centers respectively, while they await trial.
23. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Jianfeng on a Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution in Nanguan Prison
On December 21, 2007, Mr. Liu Jianfeng was transferred from Shengyang Prison to Dalian City's Nanguanling Prison to be persecuted further. Mr. Liu went on a hunger strike to protest.

24. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] The Situation of Ms. Zhao Yingjie - Brutally Persecuted, Whereabouts Unknown
Since her arrest, Ms. Zhao Yingjie has been tortured by having mustard oil poured down her throat. Also, she has been forced to sit on a tiger bench, having an iron bar pressed down and rolled on her body, and the persecutors also hit her in the genitals with a wooden bat. After she was sentenced to forced labor, Ms. Zhao has been transferred in and out the Jilin Prison. In early December, she was again transferred elsewhere, and her whereabouts are unknown.
25. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ju Zhiqin Arrested
In the afternoon of December 26, 2007, a Jinzhou City practitioner, Ms. Ju Zhiqin, was clarifying the truth when she was reported and then arrested by policemen from Liuhua Precinct. Currently, she is behind bars in the Jinzhou City Second Detention Center.

26. [Liaoyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Hui Yuqing Transported to Changchun City for Persecution
On December 26, 2007, Weijing Town (Dongliao County, Liaoyuan City) practitioner Ms. Hui Yuqing was sent to Changchun City to be persecuted further.
27. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chen Fengshen and Others Arrested
On December 8, 2007, Ms. Chen Fengzhen, an employee of Daqing City's fifth pumping station, was followed and arrested by the Xingnan Precinct police. Her whereabouts are now unknown. At noon on December 19, 2007, Wei Shuqin was arrested by the Xingnan Precinct police, but was released in the afternoon.
At 7:00 p.m. on December 19, the home of Mr. Wang Dezhi, an employee of the fifth pumping station, had his home ransacked by Xingnan Precinct police officers. They took away his video machine, Dafa books, and CDs and arrested Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang found a way to get out early the next morning, but now he cannot return home and is currently homeless.

29. [Liaoning Province] Practitioners Transferred to Different Prisons
On December 19, 2007, a large number of practitioners were transferred to the Shenyang City Number One Prison from various other prisons in different areas. In the afternoon on December 5, 2007, Mr. Feng Kun, a student at Tianjin University of Commerce, was arrested by the school's security guards. Since then he has been detained in the Beichen District's Jiarongli Police Station.
33. [Yixing City, Jiansu Province] Mr. Chen, the Former Principal of an Experimental High School, Persecuted
After the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20, 1999, Mr. Chen, a principal at Zhangzhu Town Experimental High School, was discharged from his post because he was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to teachers and students at the school. The local police have been persecuting him since then, so he hasn't been able to lead a normal life for a long time. This has caused his family members to sever their relationships with him because they believe the Chinese Communist Party lies.
34. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] The Detention of Ms. Wang Guiling in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp Extended
On October 14, 2004, Ms. Wang Guiling, 45, was passing out truth-clarification materials about Falun Gong. Someone reported her, and she was then arrested and sentenced to a three-year term in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Currently, her time of detention has been over three years and almost three months.
35. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Additional Information on the Arrests of Ms. Lu Guiiqin and Mr. Guan Longshan
Ms. Lu Guiqin, 67, and Mr. Guan Longshan, both retired, were illegally sentenced to four-year terms of imprisonment by the Honggu District Court in Lanzhou City.
