Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp in Changsha City, Human Province is infamous for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. I'd like to provide details about what has occurred there.

Mr. Xiao Chongjian Tortured by Camp Guards

Around 7 p.m. on September 16, 2007, prison guards Li Sujun and Xiao Jie took Mr. Xiao Chongjian to section C to try to force him to renounce the practice of Falun Gong . This section of the camp is used to torture Falun Gong practitioners. Guard Xiao Jie used a fully-charged electric baton to repeatedly shock Mr. Xiao. Li Sujun tortured Mr. Xiao for over three hours using his fists, elbows, knees, and a baton. Mr. Xiao was severely injured. The internal injuries resulted in pulmonary edema and pleural effusion.

It has been reported that a Falun Gong practitioner was tortured so severely in this camp that he is no longer able to walk. It takes four people to help him use the toilet. Another practitioner went on a hunger strike to protest the brutal treatment he received. He was force-fed so cruelly that two of his teeth were broken.

High Profits from Prison Labor, Conditions the International Community Cannot Imagine

Practitioners being held in Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp make various commercial products. The camp workshops are full of dust and trash. The conditions are unsanitary and not suitable for any kind of production. However, food wrappers are made here, including those used for ready-to-eat food. Some criminal (non-practitioner) inmates even intentionally put mucus and feces on the wrappers to vent their grievances.

Products made here include wrappers for Duck Necks from Hunan, Chongqing, and Zhengzhou; wrappers for Hunan Special Candy; chopsticks used at the Southern Pearl Hotel of Changsha; toothpicks for Pingxiang in Jiangxi; Hunan yogurt containers; chestnuts; Renbaoce thermometers; Laiyang Hanpian, and more. All of the above products are manufactured using free prison labor.

Guard Wu Bin admitted that this kind of illegal profit-making couldn't happen in Western countries, and is unimaginable to the international community. The cruelty that goes on inside is also not found in any other civilized society. The camp doctors act like they are treating animals, and the guards are killing machines.
