Washington D.C., U.S.A.: Rally Held in Front of Capitol Hill Supports Human Rights Torch Relay (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) Human rights violations in China are
drawing more attention in Washington D.C. as the 2008 Olympics
approach. On October 27, 2007, U.S. Congressmen, human rights
lawyers, representatives from Amnesty International, and
representatives from the Romanian and Vietnamese communities held a
rally in front of Capitol Hill to support the Human Rights Torch
Relay.
Malaysia: 2007 Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference Held in Kuala Lumpur (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) The 2007 Malaysia Falun Dafa Cultivation
Experience Sharing Conference was held on October 28, 2007 at The
Royale Bintang Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Practitioners from
all over Malaysia and neighboring countries, including Singapore,
attended the conference. About 20 practitioners shared their
cultivation experiences with the audience. The topics included how
to do the three things well,
how to take the initiative to form different projects to clarify the
facts and stop the persecution, how to improve xinxing and other
subjects. The practitioners' experience sharing helped foster
mutual understanding and improvement as a whole.
Taiwan: Falun Gong's Divine Land Marching Band Shines at the 2007 Taiwan National Athletic Games (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On October 25, 2007, the Falun Dafa Divine Land
Marching Band led athletes from around Taiwan and entered the
closing ceremony of the 2007 National Athletic Games. The band,
comprised of 125 Falun Gong practitioners, slowly walked toward the
podium in a majestic march while playing music that resounded
throughout the area. Following the band, was a fleet, including the
mayor of Tainan City and the athletes.
