(Clearwisdom.net) I had the enormous good fortune to attend compassionate and magnificent Teacher's fourth Falun Dafa lectures in Guangzhou from July 19-27, 1994. Hence, I had the opportunity to witness Teacher illustrating in His speech and actions the characteristics of the Great Law of the Universe, Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. Teacher is profoundly magnificent and miraculous. It is beyond human language to describe Teacher's miraculous and mighty virtue.
Before I practiced Falun Gong, I studied in many different qigong schools. I even worshiped a fox spirit's tablet at home. I was under the spell of the fox spirit and suffered physically and mentally. If it had not been Teacher's salvation, it would be unimaginable what I would have become of.
After the third day of the class concluded, everyone surrounded Teacher offstage. Teacher spoke with everyone with a smile. I wanted to get close to Teacher and listened to what Teacher said. When I was about 10 meters away, I saw a ray of golden light shooting towards me from the corner of His left eye although Teacher was not looking at me. I stood there motionless. I decided not to approach Teacher. On the way home, I kept sobbing for no valid reason. I said to Teacher in my mind, "If you could remove the fox possession, the source of my torment, I would honor you as my Teacher." (I had practiced many types of qigong, but I had never thought of worshiping anyone as my Teacher.)
After Teacher concluded the nine-day class, Teacher's profound and intricate Fa reached deeply into my soul. I thoroughly changed my outlook on life and the world. I said to Teacher from the bottom of my heart, "You are my Teacher. I shall see You again."
I started to follow Teacher's requirements for Falun Gong practitioners with determination and continued to improve myself. As a result, I became increasingly healthy, charming and humorous. I have found the meaning of life and our compassionate and magnificent Teacher. Teacher removed the spirit possessing my body and cleansed my body. I was sterile for many years, but I became pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy after I started to practice Falun Gong.
From December 21-29, 1994, Teacher gave the fifth Falun Dafa class in Guangzhou at Guangzhou Stadium. There were over 5,000 people attending the class from inside and outside of China. The stadium was not able to accommodate so many people, so some of them were moved to a secondary site. I gave my seat in the stadium to a fellow practitioner traveling from afar. The local Falun Gong Assistance Center gave me a staff badge so that I would be allowed to sit on the floor and help maintain order in the class.
On the second day of the class, I became attached to see Teacher close up. I brought a cushion to the entrance of the conference site and sat on the floor waiting for Teacher's arrival. I thought, "When Teacher comes, I will be the first to see him. I will stand up and welcome Teacher. This way I get to see Teacher closely." I had sat down for less than a minute when a lady came and asked me to leave. She said, "Who gave you the permission to sit here? Where is your manner to sit on the ground and block the entrance? Where did you get the staff's badge?" I was overcome with embarrassment and guilt. With tears welling in my eyes, I left and found another place to sit in the stadium. I sat in the Full Lotus position and thought, "I came to listen to Teacher's Fa lecture. Why do I have to see Teacher in close distance?" Right away I stopped crying and calmed down. I sat in the Full Lotus position for more than 40 minutes this time and was able to focus better when I listened to Teacher's Fa lecture. I was very happy. Teacher manifests His compassion in everything. As long as we eliminate our attachments, Teacher will have our every wish fulfilled.
On the third day of the class, I was locking my bicycle when someone told me, "Here comes Teacher!" I looked up and saw Teacher and several practitioners walking past us. I ran to Teacher, shook Teacher's hand with both hands and jumped up and down. I said aloud, "Greetings! Teacher!" Teacher looked at me kindly and nodded with a smile. It was until Teacher walked away towards the stadium that I remembered to go back and lock up my bicycle.
That evening Teacher gave us a Fa lecture for two hours. My right arm, neck and shoulder felt very warm for two hours. Since then, I no longer suffer any pain in my neck and shoulder. It was exactly like Teacher has said in Zhuan Falun. Teacher said,
"In providing salvation to humankind, the Buddha School does not attach any condition or seek returns, and it will help unconditionally." ("Genuinely Guiding People Toward High Levels" in Lecture One of Zhuan Falun)
Teacher's speech and actions are so truthful, kind and compassionate. Without saying anything to me, Teacher cured the obstinate illness that I had spent a lot of money trying to cure. Teacher's grace is incredibly profound.
After the class concluded, all the volunteer staff had a dinner together. There were a lot of people, so we sat at three different tables. That was the first time I attended this type of occasion, so I left the seat closer to Teacher to veteran practitioners. Those of us who were new practitioners sat on the table furthest from Teacher. Everyone kept looking at Teacher during the meal. It was as though Teacher could read our minds because He walked to our table. Everyone applauded excitedly. Teacher told us to sit down, but no one did because Teacher was standing up.
The weather was not cold in December in Guangzhou, but one still had to wear a sweater. I was standing to Teacher's left. I felt a very powerful energy coming from Teacher while He was talking. I felt a warm energy coming from the top of my head and flew all over my body. Thankful tears kept flooding my face. Teacher almost didn't touch any food because he was constantly talking to practitioners with a smile. After dinner, there was a little leftover vegetables and tofu. Teacher told us to take the leftovers home and not to waste any food. Teacher's words had a tremendous impact on me. Since then, I have never wasted any food.
Teacher's words and the examples he set for us will forever be branded in my mind.
