(Clearwisdom.net) I work in a grain warehouse, and I would like to share my thoughts and experiences of clarifying the truth and persuading people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the Communist Youth League, and the Communist Young Pioneers. Please kindly point out any inadequacies in my understanding.
When I first read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I responded like many fellow practitioners did. I wrote a statement to withdraw from the CCP and published it on The Epoch Times website. After studying the Fa, I became increasingly convinced that we should help all the predestined people to withdraw from the evil CCP for the sake of their futures.
I had already developed a habit of clarifying the truth to everyone I met, so I went on the streets and tried to persuade all my acquaintances to withdraw from the CCP. However, no one would do it. At the time the Nine Commentaries was scarce in China. Many people were not even aware of the Nine Commentaries. As I patiently told them about parts of the Nine Commentaries, my acquaintances began to learn the truth about the CCP. Some of them started to ask how they could withdraw from the CCP. I finally started to make some progress.
Persuading People to Withdraw from the CCP at My WorkplaceI started to persuade people to withdraw from the CCP at my workplace. My job is to collect grain. Since the spring of 2005, I have been telling people who come to deposit grain that Falun Gong is good. I also tell them about the CCP's crimes, its nature of deceit, evil, and corruption, as well as the manifestation of the CCP's nature in our daily life. Most of the people depositing grain are farmers and have a limited education. With that in mind, I used very colloquial language and simple examples to illustrate my points. Most of them agreed to withdraw from the CCP.
At first, I had an attachment to fear to a degree, so I had to memorize the names of those people asking to withdraw from the CCP. Later I followed the example found in an article in Minghui Weekly (printed digest of Minghui/Clearwisdom articles) that a fellow practitioner carried a notebook and a pen with him at all times so that he could write down the names or nicknames of those people asking to withdraw from the CCP. Throughout 2005, I patiently explained to one person after another the importance of withdrawing from the CCP. I have basically clarified the truth about the CCP to everyone coming to our grain warehouse.
This task has become much easier this year. The Nine Commentaries and Falun Gong's truth-clarification materials continue to spread in my area because there are significantly more Falun Gong practitioners here. People in my area are becoming increasingly aware of the truth about the CCP. My repeated, consistent efforts are starting to pay off. People come in small groups of three to five to deposit grain. Those who have already withdrawn from the CCP are also helping with our cause. They have become very close acquaintances. Sometimes when they come with their friends, they would tell me right away. "He joined the CCP's organizations, but he has not withdrawn from them. Why don't you talk to him?"
After a person asks to withdraw from the CCP following my truth-clarification, I tell him, "Talk to your family about it after you go home. If they ask to withdraw from the CCP as well, please feel free to tell me and I will take care of it." Hopefully this will create a chain reaction of withdrawing from the CCP.
Persuading My Family to Withdraw from the CCPAt the beginning of the growing trend to withdraw from the CCP, I tried to persuade my wife to withdraw from the CCP's Youth League. She didn't agree and said a lot of nasty things. When I went out at night to join group Fa study or to clarify the truth, she would lock me out. I was not upset with her, knowing where she was coming from.
I was repeatedly persecuted by the CCP and was imprisoned for a long time. During that period of time, she had to take care of our children by herself and had suffered a great deal. Besides, I am a cultivator and I should forgive and tolerate others, especially my own wife. I decided to clarify the truth to other family members first. As a result, most of my family members have withdrawn from the CCP.
One day I watered my farming field of a few acres. I returned home looking dirty and tired. My wife looked at me and suddenly asked to withdraw from the CCP Youth League. I learned that there are many opportunities to improve myself during the process and that many things are reflections of my mind and cultivation state.
Using Every Opportunity to Convince People to Withdraw from the CCPI should not be picky about the time or occasion when it comes to saving people. I should try to save everyone I meet.
One day I came across a construction site with about a dozen construction workers working on a new home. I approached them and clarified the truth to them. I actually knew one of them. I asked them to remember that Falun Gong is good and explained the benefits of withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. All of them asked to withdraw from the CCP because they felt I was truly thinking of their own good.
Sometimes when I travel to neighboring villages, I clarify the truth to people I meet on the streets. Usually they ask to withdraw from the CCP within a few minutes because they have already read the truth-clarification materials distributed by my fellow practitioners.
During wheat harvest time, all the farming households in my area have to wait for their turn to use the paddy harvesting machine. While they are waiting, I tell them about withdrawing from the CCP. The majority of farmers accepted the truth and asked to withdraw from the CCP using nicknames. One day about 100 people asked to withdraw from the CCP.
Those people who have accepted the truth are longing for Teacher's salvation. One day my boss sent me to a neighboring county in the south for a freight function. I stayed at an economy hotel where many guests shared one room. I clarified the truth to other guests in my room and convinced them to withdraw from the CCP. One of the guests was an elderly man. When I told him about the trend to withdraw from the CCP, he became very emotional and grabbed my hands tightly. He told me, "I have finally found someone who can help me withdraw from the CCP! I have finally found someone who can help me withdraw from the CCP!"
I commute to work on a motor scooter. Like a fellow practitioner whose story was published in Minghui Weekly, I stop the scooter when I see a pedestrian on the way and talk to him about withdrawing from the CCP. It has been a very effective approach.
Over the past year of efforts, I have become convinced that the knowing side of people is longing for Teacher's salvation. To clarify the truth well, I must study the Fa well and study the Fa more. This is the fundamental guarantee that my truth-clarification efforts will succeed. Meanwhile, I must send forth righteous thoughts frequently to eliminate the interference from the evil elements and lives attempting to sabotage my work.
In addition, we must read the Nine Commentaries as well. If we want to talk people into withdrawing from the CCP, we must see through the CCP's evil nature, as well as the many manifestations of its evil nature in our daily life. We must identify the CCP's culture within us and remove it from ourselves in time. I read the Nine Commentaries about once a month and it is very helpful. I don't think the CCP is worried about its evil deeds being known. In fact, I think it even wants to publicize its evil deeds to assert terror and absolute authority to control the Chinese people. But I think the CCP is frightened when the Chinese people see through its evil nature and decide to abandon it. It is important that we share our experiences with fellow practitioners from time to time, form one body, and cooperate with each other. Because of fellow practitioners' constant and persistent distribution of truth-clarification materials, it has become easier for me to convince people to withdraw from the CCP. This is a good example of the effect of cooperation. In short, Falun Gong practitioners must do our best in following Teacher's Fa and create an environment to save sentient beings because we are Dafa practitioners in the Fa-rectification period.
