1. [Jilin City] Information on the Persecution of Practitioners from Shulan City
In the past seven years, the 610 Office and police of Shulan City have put their full efforts into persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Over ten practitioners were sentenced to imprisonment. Several hundred practitioners were taken to the forced labor camps, detention centers, or were taken into the brainwashing centers and were subjected to fines of over tens of thousands of yuan. Eleven practitioners from Shulan City were tortured to death. Among them are practitioners Ms. Chu Congrui (19 years old), Mr. Kong Fanrong (56 years old), Mr. Sun Jianhua (34 years old), Mr. Tong Zhentian, Mr. Wang Jianping (30 years old), and others who have, sadly, passed away.
Recently, practitioner Mr. Jiang Yaojun was taken away by Xin He from the Police Department of Shulan City, and was subjected to forced labor. Because his physical conditions did not conform to the regulations for doing forced labor, the forced labor camp repeatedly rejected him.

2. [Hunan Province] The Brainwashing Center of Huaihua City Persecuting Falun Dafa Practitioners
Based upon reliable information, Huaihua City in Hunan Province has again started to set up brainwashing centers to persecute practitioners. Police started to arrest practitioners throughout Huaihua City. Reportedly, practitioner Ms. Deng Yue’e was arrested by the County 610 Office on October 29, 2006. She was immediately taken to the Brainwashing Center of Huaihua City. Ms. Deng’s husband is also a practitioner. He is being held at the prison in the Wulin District of Changde City. Their daughter in middle school is now at home alone with no one to take care of her. (Their elder son is studying in college out of town.) Ms. Deng Yue’e was sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2002 and was released in 2005.
In addition, about 20 people from the Chenxi County 610 Office attempted to arrest practitioner Ms. Tang Yuqing last week, but failed. Ms. Tang had also been sentenced to forced labor before. Her husband passed away so she lived with her son and they took care of each other.

3. [Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhao Qi, a Teacher in the Department of Information Engineering of Water Conservancy Profession Institute of Shandong Province Was Suspended from Teaching in September 2006 Because She Openly Announced Her Withdrawal from the CCP
At 4:30 p.m. on October 25, 2006, police officers including Yang Yehai from Dafangshen Police Station and police officers from Ganjinzi Police Department broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Wang Haiyan and took her away. They also ransacked her home.
5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioners Ms. Ye Chunxi and Ms. Li Lihua Arrested by Police
On November 1, 2006, practitioner Ms. Ye Chunxi from the Radiation Department of the No. 2 Hospital of the Wuhan City Steer Factory and practitioner Ms. Li Lihua from the Obstetrics Department of the No. 2 Hospital of Wuhan City Steer Factory were both arrested at work by police officers from the Gangcheng Police Station of the Wuhan City Steer Factory.

6. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Delong and His Wife Arrested
On the morning of August 30, 2006, practitioner Mr. Li Delong from the Rizhuang Industrial and Business Institute of the Industrial and Business Bureau of Laixi/Qingdao City was collecting fees at the Rizhuang Town Market when he was tricked into going to the Rizhuang Town Police Station by police officers including Li Shihua (male) from the Rizhuang Town Police Station of the Laixi/Qingdao City Police Department. Mr. Li Delong was then illegally arrested and his keys were confiscated. He was then taken to and held in the Detention Center of the Laixi City Police Department. On the afternoon of the same day, police went to the home of Mr. Li and illegally ransacked it. Afterwards, the police ransacked Mr. Li’s office and apartment but found nothing.
On September 20, 2006, the relatives of Mr. Li Delong were also subjected to mistreatment. Mr. Li’s wife, Ms. Ju Ruihong, was arrested by police officers, including Shen Tao from the Police Department of Laixi City, at the door of her home on October 24, 2006. She is currently being held in the Laixi City Detention Center where she is being tortured. Ms. Ju Ruihong has been on a hunger strike for four days.

At 8:30 a.m. on August 24, 2006, practitioner Ms. Liu Fengling was at work when she was arrested by Fu Libin (male) and others from the 610 Office. They also ransacked her home and confiscated a photo of Master Li and an incense burner, as well as other items. Subsequently, she was taken to the Corporal Punishment Police Division. That evening, she jumped out of the third floor to try to escape. She fractured her lumbar vertebrae due to the fall. After being hospitalized for over a month in the Qiqiharer City Hospital, she was released.
8. [Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Hongliang Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Li Hongliang, about 35 years old, lived in Room 301, No. 45 on Shiqiminquan Road of Zhongshan City. He used to be the deputy manager of the Bishengke Restaurant. He learned Falun Dafa in 1995. Because he was reported by someone to the police, he was arrested by Qijiang Police Station and the Zhongshan District 610 Office agents. His computer and cash were confiscated by police officers.
10. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Xia Held and Tortured for an Extended Period Time Because of Steadfastly Cultivating Falun Dafa
Practitioner Ms. Wang Xia from the Huadu District of Guangzhou City completed her term of detention in September 2006. Due to her steadfastly practicing Falun Dafa, she has now been taken to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp of Guangzhou City to be subjected to continued torture.

11. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Ms. Sun Yanqiao Arrested at Home
Practitioner Ms. Sun Yanqiao from the Wuchang District of Wuhan City was arrested at home on October 28, 2006. Her home computer and printer were also confiscated. She is currently being held in the Women’s Detention Center of Wuhan City.

Police officers from the Police Department of Linjiang City colluded with the police officers from the Jianguo Police Station of Linjiang City to break into the home of practitioner Ms. Liu Haiyun on November 1, 2006. They arrested Ms. Liu and took her to the Dalizi Detention Center where she is being tortured.

At 7:00 p.m. on October 25, 2006, the Chengdong Police Station colluded with the police from the State Security Division to illegally break into the homes of practitioners Mr. Cheng Guanghui, Mr. Li Yongsheng, and Ms. Xu Guihua, from the Goumengzi District of Lingyuan City. They confiscated books, DVDs, photos, and other items. These three practitioners were arrested by police officers at about 9:00 p.m.

The truth-clarification materials site at the home of practitioner Mr. Shun Ge (assumed name) from the Erdao District of Changchun City was broken into by police from the Economic Development District who claimed to be checking on registered permanent resident paperwork. Truth-clarification materials as well as other goods were confiscated. Mr. Shun Ge was handcuffed, but later he walked away with righteous thoughts.
18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhou Haiyan Arrested and Taken to the Brainwashing Center
At 3:00 p.m. on October 31, 2006, the CCP Secretary of Mingxing Social District, Liu Shuqing, phoned practitioner Ms. Zhou Haiyan and asked her to go to the Social District Office to take care of something. As soon as Ms. Zhou arrived at the door of the Social District Office, four plainclothes police officers suddenly jumped out, arrested her, and took her into a van that had been prepared and was already waiting. The van rushed her to the Huanbao Hotel Brainwashing Center of Dalian City where Ms. Zhou is being subjected to torture.

Practitioner Ms. Li Yuezhi from Guilin City was arrested by police officers from the 610 Office of Guilin City around June 2006. She has been taken to the Women’s Prison of Nanning City in Guangxi Province where she is being subjected to continued torture.

21. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinmei Forced to Leave Home to Avoid Being Arrested
Reportedly, practitioner Ms. Wang Jinmei from Changchun City was harassed by police from the Liuying Road Police Station of Changchun City when they went to her work place at the East Asia Economy and Business News Agency on October 31, 2006. On the afternoon of November 2, 2006, four police officers from the State Security Division of the Kuancheng Police Department of Changchun City arrested Ms. Wang Jinmei at her work place. They even tried to threaten her that they would ransack her home, but were stopped by Ms. Wang Jinmei with righteous thoughts. She also walked away with righteous thoughts. She is now forced to stay away from her home to avoid being arrested.

At a little past 9:00 p.m. on October 8, 2006, a group of police officers broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Chen Lijun (in her 60s) and took her away. According to her family members, she is being held in the Fengman District Police Department.
24. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Cui Hongyan from the Water Supply Company of Daqing City Arrested at Her Workplace by Tieren Police Department at 8:00 a.m. on November 1, 2006
