(Clearwisdom.net) When I read the "Falun Dafa Association Announcement" on October 9, 2005, I could not help crying. Teacher's words came to my mind:
"If the CCP, while in its death throes, still tries to use different tactics to tamper with the salvation of sentient beings, then we have other ways to deal with it--the Buddha Fa is boundless!"

From Teacher's recent articles, I feel over and over again the sense of urgency to save sentient beings.
Many chat-friends I meet on the Internet have begun to realize the goodness of Falun Dafa, and they are able to get rid of the fear that the CCP has programmed into their heads. They have started to look into the persecution of Falun Gong. On the other hand, many other people still have wrong ideas about Falun Gong and some don't want to listen to the truth. When I read the announcement, I felt somewhat anxious. People believe in "good will be rewarded and evil will be punished"; this principle has always been validated throughout history.
From the Clearwisdom website, we can see that more and more police officers are standing up to defend Falun Gong practitioners. I also came into contact with some wonderful people who have not practiced Falun Gong, but their sense of justice and and courage to defend Falun Gong in the dangerous situation truly touched my heart. I feel happy and proud of them. Their future is going to be most wonderful.
On the other hand, recent information from China indicates that Zeng Qinghong and Luo Gan, left over from Jiang Zemin's regime, have started a new round of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. Some areas in China have seen Falun Gong practitioners being arrested again. To the people who still persecute Falun Gong, the announcement came as a compassionate warning. I wish these people will wake up quickly.
In the latest article "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be", Teacher said,
"All human attachments and notions that interfere with validating the Fa and saving sentient beings must be removed."
Teacher also told us,
"I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you this: while saving sentient beings, don't forget to cultivate yourselves. (Applause) You need to do all of the three things. You should always keep your thoughts righteous, and when you are confronted with evil or with certain situations, you should send forth righteous thoughts a lot; you need to clarify the truth and save sentient beings, but even more so should you cultivate yourselves well. If you don't cultivate yourselves well you won't have mighty virtue, what you say will not be in line with the Fa, and then you can't possibly save sentient beings. When what you say has no mighty virtue and no power, it will have no effect, and the evil will capitalize on that."

I told myself, I can't afford to waste any more time. I still have so many human notions. If I can't cultivate myself well, the consequences will affect much more than my personal consummation. Here I would like to share Teacher's words in "Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago":
"You know, as Dafa cultivators in the Fa-rectification period, the historic mission that you have--this great responsibility--is indeed enormous. What lies before you is not merely personal cultivation or saving a few people. The entire human race is before you, and the Chinese people, in particular."
I often meet Chinese fellow practitioners on the Internet. Some of them, after a long time without access to Teacher's articles, burst into tears when they receive Teacher's articles from me. By contrast, our cultivation environment is so safe and peaceful, how could we not treasure it and become more diligent? Of course, my anxiety is not good. We should arrange our time wisely. We must read the Fa with a calm mind, put forth our best effort in doing the three things, remember to cultivate ourselves while validating the Fa, and get rid of the stubborn attachments that have been with us for a long time. When we do these things well, we will gain greater power to save every single life we meet!
