Persecution Facts
Bolou Labor Camp is located in the southeast part of Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. The persecutors there cruelly torture Dafa practitioners with a method called "Tying the Ropes" [The police/guards tie the practitioner up with a thin rope, circle the rope around his neck, and tie his hands behind his back. Then they use all the force they can muster to tighten the rope. The rope becomes tighter and tighter around the body of the practitioner, and makes it more and more difficult for him to breathe. The pain is so intense that the practitioner sometimes loses control of his bladder. There are instances when the rope was tightened enough to break a practitioner's arm]. They keep pushing the practitioners' hands and tightening the rope until the rope cuts into the practitioners' flesh. Practitioner Wei Kunfeng's arms and hands became nearly permanently disabled from this torture. The persecutors also often kick and beat Dafa practitioners; they force practitioners to walk the floor on all fours (their hands and feet). They provide the detainees only one meal and allow only two hours of sleep every day. They also force the practitioners to do slave labor.
Atrocities committed against Dafa practitioners at District Seven of the Heilongjiang Province Female Prison: The persecutors maliciously beat, force-feed, and torture Dafa practitioners. They cuff the practitioners' hands behind their backs. Then they throw them into the ice-cold washroom, where they are not allowed to sleep at night. Several practitioners lost consciousness as a result. They also dragged the practitioners into a vegetable cellar, where they tortured them for seven days. In late November, the persecutors made the practitioners stand still in a windy location. Practitioner Zheng Hongli fainted on the third day; 65-year-old practitioner Ms. Lu Shuqin had blood in her mouth and stool after she was savagely beaten. Practitioner Wang Shuxia was found to have abnormal blood pressure and heart rate after being tortured, and is currently in a coma.
