(Clearwisdom.net) I just read the article "My Understanding of Reading the Facts of the Persecution Section" dated January 24, 2004 on Clearwisdom.net and have the same feeling as the author. In the following, I will share the experiences of me and my fellow practitioners regarding many aspects of reading and organizing the persecution cases.
In the past year, we have been organizing the persecution cases. We read a lot of persecution cases and summarized them. We realized that the story and the names of the perpetrators mentioned in every persecution case are related to local Fa-rectification environments and the field of evil in them, and that we must maintain righteous thoughts while reading them. Based on my own understanding, the importance of reading the persecution cases can be summarized by the following two points.
1. Reading the persecution cases with righteous thoughts and totally denying the evil persecution
Master once said that the main body of Falun Dafa disciples is in China ("To the Clear Harmony Website of Europe"). In this persecution, overseas practitioners have the responsibility for appealing overseas, exposing the evil being done and reducing the pressure on Falun Dafa practitioners in China. Falun Dafa practitioners in China and overseas are one body. In the face of this persecution, overseas practitioners have indeed worked very hard. Some have clarified the truth to the governments while others worked on the media, and also clarified the truth in other aspects to save people. From what I know, some practitioners are too busy and have no time to read the persecution cases; some practitioners feel uncomfortable after reading them, and some are not clearheaded and have doubts about the end of the persecution. I also feel that when my cultivation state is not good, it is really difficult to continue reading it carefully; but I know it is important, so I just read anyway.
On March 29, 2003, the article "Expose the Evil People" from the editors says, "Every time a situation occurs in which Dafa disciples are persecuted to death, we will do this, and each time we will continue to do this for a period of time. With our concerted efforts aimed in the same direction, we will continue to let people all over China and the international community know, using various methods, specifically who those evil people are that are following Jiang's wicked gang to persecute Dafa disciples and have directly accrued those bloody debts."
We should envision the persecution cases and send forth righteous thoughts while reading. We should pay great attention to the persecution cases, especially those in which Falun Dafa disciples are persecuted to death. Letting people all over China and the international community know what is happening is one of the elements needed to totally deny and end this persecution. Overseas practitioners live in a very good environment and do not have the direct sense of the degree of persecution in China; therefore it is very easy to feel indifferent. Master said, "As I've said, everything that happens today in the ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts." (Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.) Master also said, "Let me tell you, all those who remain and that can persecute Dafa and Dafa disciples are due to our students themselves." ("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.") If some practitioners feel helpless (though unconsciously) or think of this as a persecution of humans and therefore feel indifferent, then there must be some evil elements remaining in our dimensional field. If a large number of practitioners think and act in this way, then the negative influence is even bigger. Therefore, reading the persecution cases on Clearwisdom.net is also a process of improving our understanding of Falun Dafa principles, strengthening our firm righteous thoughts, and constantly elevating ourselves through cultivation. Of course, the righteous thoughts and actions of fellow practitioners in China also help us to improve together.
2. Reading the persecution cases on Clearwisdom.net is a process of eliminating the evil
While organizing the persecution cases in Chinese forced labor camps, the most prominent problems come from all kinds of interference from difference places. These may involve the element of practitioners' personal cultivation, but may also be due to evil interference from other dimensions. The evil elements not only controls the police to persecute practitioners in Mainland China, but also overseas practitioners. When we began to organize the persecution cases, interference with practitioners' xinxing (heart or mind nature, character) and physical persecution came one after another. Their stories of overcoming the tribulations shows how reading the persecution cases on Clearwisdom.net helps to eliminate all the evil that persecutes Falun Dafa in that area. It also shows that this is an important aspect of overseas practitioners and practitioners in China opposing the persecution as one body.
One day as a practitioner began to organize the persecution materials, he felt itchy all over his body and developed red lumps on his skin. One practitioner's mouth grew a hard callus affixed to the flesh like a needle. Another practitioner's computer began to have trouble, becoming strangely slow and constantly freezing up. Many practitioners said that every time they were working on a persecution case involving the forced labor camps, it was like going through a test of life and death. It is this kind of interference that lets us see how frightened the evil beings are when we expose the persecution in China. A practitioner said, "I feel that organizing the persecution cases involving the forced labor camps and the evil people is so important. Before, I did not realize that there was all kinds of interference and so I was often interrupted and made unable to continue by it. After I realized this, I sent forth righteous thoughts. After this I felt that I and the practitioners in the forced labor camps were one body and my mind was filled with a benevolence that is hard to describe, which that fused myself and the practitioners in China into one body."
When I began to work on the persecution cases involving the Daxing Forced Labor Camp in Beijing, my father, husband and daughter all came down with fevers. I was very busy taking care of them and had no time to work on the persecution cases. Later, I realized this was the evil beings persecuting my family members in order to prevent me from organizing the persecution cases. I began to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil and everyone quickly recovered. After I saw through this kind of persecution, it changed form. When I began to organize the persecution cases of the Harbin Wanjia Forced Labor Camp, I suddenly had to physically endure the most hardship since the beginning of my cultivation. For several days, I could not sleep, could not sit straight, could not lie down and had difficulty breathing. I was like a fish thrown onto land. I lay down and could not fall asleep for much of the night. Then I sent forth righteous thoughts for the rest of the night, realizing that this was interference by the old forces. Three days later, I was able to breath, but felt pain all over my body. My hand was so painful that I could not hold the mouse. I felt that once I thought about organizing the persecution cases, there was this black substance pressing on me. I constantly sent forth righteous thoughts. It continued to come, and was eliminated continuously by my righteous thoughts. After the evil substance was eliminated, I felt benevolent. Master cleanses me at regular intervals.
A practitioner said in her email, "The persecution cases involving the Shizishan Forced Labor Camp in Hubei Province were delayed for one month because of interference. During this time, in addition to a lot of external interference, there were also many problems that existed in my cultivation. Some were regarding the basis of my cultivation, while others were deeply rooted attachments that had not been dug out. These gaps caused interference, such as falling asleep while studying the Fa, an inability to keep my mind calm, and serious thought karma. Once I started organizing the persecution cases, my brain would be in sleep mode and was restrained. It would take me several hours to finish one case or I would fall asleep without finishing. It was not until I truly calmed down and looked inward that I found many xinxing problems and attachments. After this, I was able to make some breakthroughs in my cultivation state."
These practitioners had already begun to eliminate the evil when they started to organize the persecution materials and get the names of the Chinese forced labor camps that they were to work on. They constantly eliminated the evil and broke the arrangements of the old forces. This allowed them to constantly organize the first hand persecution materials that make the evil feel terrified, suffocating the evil and saving those who can still be saved. Master said, "In extremely difficult situations and when the most evil beings act most savagely, we're still able to be so merciful--this is the performance of the most magnificent Gods. When we're in the midst of the worst suffering, we're still saving others." "Nothing we do is for self-interest, much less is it for some everyday people's organization. It's for validating Dafa. Exposing the evil is to stop its persecution of Dafa and our students." ("Teaching the Fa at the Great Lakes Fa Conference in North America")
