Chen Jianning's family
Chen Fei's father Chen Jianning was a Falun Dafa practitioner in Shidu Town, Wuning County, Jiangxi Province who had begun practicing in 1996. On August 28, 2002, personnel from the Wuning County 610 Office, as well as staff from the former Politics and Security Division and from the Shidu Town Police Station abducted Chen Jianning and his wife and tortured them. Chen Jianning was beaten to death later that day at the 610 Office.
