The Torture That Led to the Death of Mr. Song Changguang -- The Abuse He Endured In Chaoyanggou Labor Camp In Changchun

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Song Changguang, 26, lived in Biangang Township, Shuangchenzi Village. He started practicing Falun Gong in 1997 and experienced great physical and mental improvements.

In 2001, Mr. Song Changguang was to graduate from the University of Jilin, Telecommunications College. In December he went to Beijing to appeal, in accordance with his rights to do so. He was illegally arrested on Tiananmen Square, returned to Jilin authorities by the government's liaison office in Beijing, and detained in the Chaoyanggou detention center. Later, he was sentenced to two years in a labor camp and was sent to the notorious No. 4 group. While there, he encountered inhuman torture. Especially in September 2001, Chaoyangge Labor Camp started using force and many inhumane tortures to transform the detained Falun Gong practitioners.

Assistant Professor of College of Medicine at Jiamusi University Ms. Yang Yongping Jailed Illegally for Practicing Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Yang Yongping was born in 1959 and an associate professor at the Jiamusi University's College of Medicine. She suffered from many diseases. She lost part of her lungs through surgery and was in poor general health. Fortunately Professor Yang was introduced to the practice of Falun Gong in 1995. Living by "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" allowed her not only to regain her health but also made her enthusiastic about helping others. Since she worked diligently and was easy to work with, Jiamusi University awarded her "A Double Ten Distinguished Teacher." (She scored 10 out of 10 in both teaching and integrity.)
