(Clearwisdom.net) Regarding the recent incident involving Falun Gong programs being broadcast in Mainland China, I would like to share my viewpoint.
First, I believe there's nothing wrong with using such a peaceful approach to let the Chinese people know the truth of Falun Gong. The function of the news media is to safeguard freedom of expression and the citizens' right to know the truth. In China, the media is supported by taxpayers' money and should represent the people's voice, rather than as a mouthpiece for the dictator's propaganda to frame and slander the innocent.
If Jiang's regime can wrest away the media that rightfully belongs to the people to distort the truth and turn everything upside down, why can't the people use the media to clarify the truth? If Jiang's regime can block all the information and punish those who speak out on the truth, why can't the people strive for freedom of expression? If Jiang's regime can unlawfully persecute Falun Gong practitioners with impunity, why can't the people use the media to clarify the truth in a peaceful manner?
This incident suggests that Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong has reached the point of becoming a complete outrage, and sooner or later people will find out the truth. When more and more people with a sense of justice learn the truth, and realize that they have been fooled, can they still sit tight and watch the dictator continue to persecute good people?
In my view, this incident not only exposes the Jiang regime's trampling on the freedom of the press but also reveals the spirit of Falun Gong practitioners in the exercise of their freedom of expression. Throughout the last three years, they have shown remarkable persistence and courage. I say these broadcasts deserve our applause!
