A Solemn Statement
I am not a Falun Gong practitioner, but my mother is a dedicated practitioner. On December 27, 2001, my mother was forcefully kidnapped from her home by wicked police from the local police station. On the December 29, she was sent to the county police station to be persecuted. Because I worried about my mother suffering, I went to talk to the local police, the county police, and the political administration many times, asking them to release her. I understand that what Dafa practitioners have done has been the best and most righteous thing.
When I went to the local police station to ask for her release, the police there raised one issue. They asked me to use lime to cover up the truth of Dafa that my mother had written on a wall. Moreover, they asked me to sign a guarantee saying that I would look after my mother and not let her participate in the Fa-rectification. I was afraid of my mother suffering so much, so I went against my conscience and complied with the wicked police. I did what a good person should not do. After my mother came back, she clarified the truth to me, which made me understand. I was extremely regretful. My husband and I immediately wiped the lime off the wall so as to show the truth of Dafa. Now, I seriously state that the "guarantee " I signed, and all of my words and deeds that violated "Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance)," are invalid. At the same time, I would like to diligently help Dafa practitioners and their Teacher rectify the Fa until the time when the heaven and earth celebrate together and the Fa rectifies the human world. I will be a good person who follows "Zhen-Shan-Ren."

I am a family member of a Falun Gong practitioner. Because my wife went to Beijing to rectify the Fa on December 17, 2001, she was arrested and jailed in a detention center. My company coerced me and asked me to persuade my wife to quit practicing Falun Gong and to write a guarantee letter. Otherwise, they told me, I would lose my job. My children were not allowed to go to school, and I had no choice. Thus, I had to persuade my wife. She said, "I definitely will not write the letter, because I am not wrong. I definitely will not lower my head to the evil. " I really did not have any choice, so I wrote a "guarantee" for her. I also spent 3,800 Yuan RMB to have her released on bail. Afterwards, my wife clarified to me why we cannot cooperate with their orders. I know that Falun Gong is good and that there is nothing wrong with cultivation practice. It is just that Jiang's regime has painted the people who cultivate "Zhen-Shan-Ren" as the government's enemies. Dafa practitioners are all good people. My wife has practiced Falun Gong for several years. Even I have been benefited from her cultivation; the Teacher also purified my body. I feel deep regret. I hereby solemnly state that the "guarantee letter" I wrote is invalid.
