Opening Speech
Greetings to our most respected Shifu! Greetings to all Dafa practitioners!
We here declare the official opening of the 2001 US Washington DC International Fahui.
First, let us pay our deepest honor to our great (and beloved) Shifu!
Meanwhile, let us give a warm welcome to all the Dafa disciples coming from all parts of the world here to join this Fahui!
Also, let us send our most sincere regards to all the Dafa disciples who are still suffering under the evil persecutions in China!
Two solemn years has passed, from season to season,
Dafa disciples' hearts - still full of enthusiasm,
For the sake of preaching Righteous-Fa in this world,
For the sake of saving all sentient beings.
Even facing the separation from one's beloved,
Or during the suffering of senseless beatings to one's body,
In our heart, there was never any hatred but only compassion.
Wake up, People of this world!
Because of you,
The blood of hundreds of thousands of Dafa disciples is being shed,
You also must know that,
Whosoever hinders or try to destroy the teaching of Dafa,
Will certainly receive damnation forever on.
Dear disciples of Dafa,
Do you still remember?
The holy vows you made over billions of years ago,
That we would follow our Shifu in the Fa-rectifying of this world,
Therefore, here we are now on this abominable earth.
700 bloody and atrocious days and nights have gone by,
It only reinforces Dafa disciples' firm dedication for this purpose,
"To give our life" is not just an empty word.
In order to be called Fu-Fa-Sheng for the Main Buddha,
We will never be ashamed of that title.
Be diligent, Dafa disciples,
It will not be in vain of our waiting for hundreds of thousands of years
It will not be in vain of our great revered teacher who has drained all he has for us.
Let us all eradicate all evil,
To use all our might,
We will see the bright and new Universe,
After the Rectifying of the Fa.

To Most venerated Shifu!
To all Dafa disciples!
The 2001 Washington DC Fahui is just about to conclude.
We are here to pay our most sincere respect to our great Shifu!
Time flies by and by,
Like a river which flows constantly and silently,
After uncountable times of our life on this earth,
With the holy vow we made long, long, ago for our present purpose,
With an honest and pure heart,We have been waiting for this moment to come in order to follow our Shifu.
After such an endless time,
After such long uncountable years of waiting,
Our heart and spirit has become impure by blemish and stained.
Shifu by His compassion and the great Fa,
Has enabled us to be able to recover to our original brightness and purity.
No amount of difficulties and hardships can deter us,
No matter how much the sufferings, we do not complain,
Only after intense purification and hundreds of thousands of times of testing and refining,
The true nature of "awakened beings" will be revealed,
Those anti-god evil forces,Cannot escape their fate of total destruction,
Those who follow that evil force in this world,
Will also find their dwelling in hell.
Each cell of Dafa,
During this most important time,
Let us be clear minded, be rational,
With compassion toward all people.
Urgently following the Dafa-rectification,
With righteous thoughts in our mind constantly,
Let us diligently to cultivate Dafa,
By our supernormal abilities,
Let us rectify all evils,
To return back upward to regain our original place.
A new chapter of human history is being created,
It will make known to all human beings,
About this most unique chapter of this human history,
We will all celebrate together during the time of our completion.

Nine years pass as one second,
Life on earth goes aimlessly as usual,
Fame and personnel gain on earth,
That is all people on this earth are after,
But everything all fades away as smoke.
People's hearts become evil and karma increases,
Endless of incarnations is the only way of life,
Life after life, sadness is all that it is.
Compassionate Teacher started to preach Dafa,
All sentient beings received the Fa with tears of gratefulness,
We are striving toward the elimination of our attachments,
Because going back upwards toward our origin is our goal.
Whenever one person decided to cultivate,
The golden light shines toward the whole universe,
To cultivate the great Dafa of Zhen Shan and Ren,
100 million Dafa disciples gather forward,
Reached far and wide is the power and fame of our Great teacher.
Good and evil are always having conflicts,
Many hardships facing the spreading of the righteous Dafa,
Hundreds of thousands of evils come out to hinder and interfere with the Fa teaching,
When all Dafa disciples all act as one, a big universal transformation will come.
No amount of force, money, can move Dafa disciples' heart,
No fabrication lies can deceive Dafa disciples' mind,
Completion can only be reached by one's emptying all worldly desires,
How can any awakened being could bow down to this world?
Traveling of thousands of miles for clarifying the truth is with high motivation,
It's only wish is to present the truth for Dafa,
Even when one encountering arresting and persecuting and jail,
The pure hearts of Dafa disciples can never be moved.
Displaying Banners on Tiananmen Square,
Busy working around United Nations,
All are ways for assisting our Teacher, to save all sentient beings,
Being rational and using wisdom to clarify the truth is our aim.
Through 700 days and nights, China had gone through great sufferings.
The evil deeds had spread all over our country.
Two hundred innocent Dafa disciples' blood was shed.
This has reached the point that heaven and earth are all angry.
Retribution is a heavenly law,
All evil will face it's own end, who can escape it?
Total destruction face those who are total evil,
Heaven and Earth are most fair.
Ten years of preparation is only for use today,
To witness Dafa disciples' supernormal power,
Eradicate evil is real compassion,
This contribution to humanity is every lasting.
