[China] Overseas Lawsuits for Jiang
Recently, one work unit received and "unknowingly" signed the summons and the indictment of a high-level leader in China. They transmitted them to a department for further process.
A responsible person in that department claimed they have taken a series of strict measures to prevent this summons and indictment from being valid. Now what? The first barrier has been broken. What makes headaches for them is that the oversea Falun Dafa practitioners will also sue Jiang Zemin. Then how can they prevent it? It's simply too hard. Now, everybody is busy and nervous on this matter because Jiang will travel abroad in November.
[Hubei province] Falun Dafa practitioners spread the truth flyers eveywhere
In the early morning of Aug. 20, 2000, dozens of Dafa practitioners in one city of Hubei province endeavored to tell the truth. About 1,200 flyers were sent out in streets and lanes. Encouraged by outside practitioners, they sent another 9,000 copies of flyers everywhere on Oct. 14. Some flyers were sent to people's houses; some were placed at morning exercise sites in parks; some are posted. This action has greatly encouraged our fellow practitioners.
[Yantai, Shandong Province] Practitioners arrested during trick "population census"
Recently, Yantai City has made the decision to search and arrest practitioners at Zhifu District and Xixia City. Fellow practitioners, please be cautious to prevent them from arresting and searching us under excuses of "population census".
[Laiyang, Shandong Province] A practitioner severely reprimanded the evil police
On the evening of Oct. 23, about a dozen policemen directed by Liu Hongtao from the police station of Laiyang developing district surrounded the house of Wei Honglian (pseudonym) with two police vans. They cut off the phone line ahead of time. Wei didn't open the door for them and stepped up to the roof to expose the criminals loudly to the neighbors. She pointed out their names directly: "Liu Hongtao, what are you doing here with so many policemen? I didn't do anything illegal, how can you treat Dafa practitioners like this? My neighbors, you all have seen it. It's these policemen who stole the jewelry and money from my home when I was detained. They violated the law and do not deserve to be policemen." Liu Hongtao hid in the van upon being called by his name. Wei spoke out with justice: "Listen, whoever dares to climb up will be hit by the stone in my hand." One policeman said: "I'll shoot you dead first." Wei responded: "OK, your police department will be responsible for what you have done, then report your name first." That policeman became silent because of fear. Since many people were around, the police dared not to arrest her but withdrew. Now Wei's family of three have been forced to leave their home and are homeless.
[Laiyang, Shandong Province] When one conducts evil deeds, the retribution will be extended to one's entire family
Liu Hongtao, a policeman of Laiyang developing district, Shandong province, is involved quite often in arresting Falun Dafa practitioners and has done many evil deeds. Now his father is suffering from liver cancer and his wife was pregnant unsuccessfully many times and recently even got a strange disease: severe amnesia. She always forgets what she is talking about right away. It is just as it was said that, when one conducts evil deeds, the retribution will be extended to one's entire family.
[Beijing] The evil records of Beijing police
Shi Jianfeng (the political commissar of Beiwu police station, Shunyi County) and Li Baojun (the Party secretary of Guojiawu police station, Shunyi County) brutally beat up Dafa practitioners. Their illegal conduct is recorded below:
Two practitioners went to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa on Oct. 6 and got arrested. Shi Jianfeng, Li Baojun and their driver went to pick them up. Shi handcuffed two practitioners so tight that the handcuffs cut into their flesh. Shi also continuously hit and pressed both practitioners' heads when they were in the car. At the police station, Shi and Li bound both practitioners' fingers with small finger-cuffs and tied their arms behind their backs with 8 wires, then hung them up with their feet 2 feet above the ground for more than half an hour..
Beijing Labor Camp Allocation Center abuses their power and humiliates Falun Dafa practitioners
Falun Dafa practitioners have to pass a relay station --Beijing Labor Camp Allocation Center -- before they are sent to labor camps from detention centers. They need to enter several doors after arriving there. An angry shout will be heard at the first door: "Lower head!" Otherwise their heads and necks will be abruptly shocked by three electric batons. Their hair usually gets burned. Then after getting into the next door, they were ordered, "Squat down!" If they failed to do so, the batons and curses come all of a sudden. Later, the practitioners are stripped off to their shorts and are exposed to the July sun on the cement floor for almost a day. The feet are sometimes burned to blisters.
[Beijing] Tuanhe Detention Center in Beijing continues persecuting Dafa practitioners
Bad people are disciplining good people
The police and criminals unite together in Tuanhe Detention Center. The police selected strong and evil criminals to supervise and torture Dafa practitioners. They can beat, curse, punish practitioners to labor, and not allow practitioners to sleep at their will. One practitioner in his twenties who just graduated from a university suffered all sorts of torture just because he did not write a "statement of repentance". They forced him to finish work that overloaded his ability several times and did not allow him to sleep all night. A few days later, this practitioner was tortured until he was very thin, and his eyes looked very big. These criminals said proudly: "Nowadays, the policy is allowing us bad people to discipline you good people!"
Spiritual torture
The hardest tribulation is not the heavy labor work and staying-up, but the forced "Transformation". The police order the practitioners to "talk" with them, force practitioners to write "statement of repentance" and the material to reveal other practitioners' information, and force practitioners to go on stage to give a "speech". One practitioner could not stand the negative propaganda against Dafa, he stood up and said: "Don't attack our Teacher like this." Then he was electric shocked for one hour. Another practitioner spoke loudly in public: "Dafa practitioner XXX (his name) ask for hunger strike! You should not treat our practitioners like this!" His two arms then were tied by the police to form one straight line, and then they beat and electric shocked him harshly. Sometimes our practitioners were shocked by 12 electronic batons simultaneously, and tortured.
Things will turn in the opposite direction when they reach the extreme. When the brutal spiritual and physical torture go to the extreme, some practitioners who had written "statement of repentance" under pressure now have realized the essence of the tribulations. They let go the thought of life-and-death and withdrew their "statement of repentance". They actively spread the Fa to the people around them. Facing the subsequent torture, they firmly kept their righteous belief, and use righteous thoughts to subdue all evil.
We salute those practitioners who keep the character of Dafa practitioner while under such tribulations! Millions of practitioners are concerned for you, watching you and supporting you! With gratitude in our hearts and encouragement from you, we are converging to form a powerful current of the Fa rectification!
Those practitioners who still hide inside your homes: you must have known that Teacher has delayed the time again and again to wait for you! Haven't you felt how deep Teacher's great expectation is? Don't you feel that the practitioners who are in jail or homeless have been waiting too long for you?
[Shenzhou, Hebei Province] The police of Shenzhou had a sudden home-search of all practitioners whose names are known
Since August 2000, the "610 Group" (a specific group in charge of suppressing Falun Gong) of Shenzhou, Hebei Province has been searching all practitioners' homes they knew. They investigated secretly and also placed practitioners under secret surveillance and monitored their phone lines. On September 1, about 10PM, the leaders of Tangfeng town's judicial section Liu Jinling, Yang Wenfang and Zhao Jianyi brought ten people to search practitioner Zhao Shuzan's home, then they brought Zhao Shuzan to the judicial section to interrogate and force a confession. Zhao Shuzan suffered brutal beatings all night because he kept silent and refused to talk. He was released after 11 day's detention. He is still under secret surveillance. Practitioner Li Xianghong, an employee of Shenzhou Hospital has lost contact with others since July 20, 1999, when she went to appeal in Beijing.
[Baiyin, Gansu Province] Police illegally searched practitioners' homes and confiscated Dafa materials
On the afternoon on October 20, the police of Baiyin City, under the supervisor Zhang Mingcai, accompanied by the divisions of security and law, and local police station, broke into practitioners' homes, searched their homes and confiscated Dafa materials. The following practitioners have been arrested:
Wang Kaocai, female, 50 years old; her husband and son have all been sent to labor camp because they went to Beijing to appeal, so her whole family members are all under persecution.
Wang Hui, female, 30 years old, an employee of Workers' Hospital of Baiyin Company. She had been detained for 48 days for going to Beijing to appeal and was bailed out by her family member. This is her second arrest.
